I have been coming here since 1998 the food is always the same as day one. Family owned and it's one of my favorites in Mpls. If you want true Greek Food your here.

Really good food and service. The restaurant is small but didn't have trouble getting a table on a Friday night. Waiter was very knowledgeable. Our family of 4 shares several appetizers and entrees. Prices very reasonable. Authentic, fresh, flavorful food. Will definitely be back!
We did not have reservations but were able to get in. The service was slow in the beginning but picked up after awhile. Food was good. especially the lamb.
On a cold winter's night, having arbitrarily picked several Nordeast restaurants that were jammed with people waiting for tables, and a din that made it difficult to even ask how long the wait would be, we walked over to Gardens of Salonica. And we were...More
The restaurant was not full on Saturday evening. The food was authentic Greek comfort food. The dishes looked very attractive and tasted great. We liked the service. The only negative things was temperature control in a room. We visited in January. It was cold and...More
We had a nice experience eating at this restaurant. Food was delicious. It's a small room and it was quite busy and noisey the night we were there. Our server was a bit overwhelmed but did a good job.
Food was very good. Lamb was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Pita was soft and just plain delicious. Services was good- seemed like a family run business. We were there with a party of 10 and we were a bit snug but not uncomfortable. My only...More
We are always treated to wonderful food that has an authentic feel. Last night we felt like coming for a visit to Anna's home. Each of us shared the combination appetizer plate to start the meal. Delicious. The wine flight gave us a taste of...More
My wife and I attended an alumni luncheon at GoS. Our group of about 20 had the back room to ourselves. We were treated to some red and white Greek wines before the meal which were quite good. For lunch, Anna, the owner, had arranged...More
This is a nice family run place with excellent food. You can tell they care about the food and want to make every dish special. I'm not a vegetarian, but I love the Yigandes entree!
Location was not difficult to find. Neighborhood not glamorous. The decor was simple but somewhat cozy. Felt like a family operation which was nice. The menu was a little limited but still plenty to try. The dishes we tried tasted more authentic than the usual...More
I brought my parents here; they love Greek food and were very satisfied with the choices on the menu and the quality of the cuisine. The menu is quite large. All the food was very tasty.
Had a great lunch. We choose the specials of the day, the lamb and the pork. Both were large portions and the meat was tender and flavourful. A glass of retsina made the meal complete. W were dining here a few years ago and it...More
I'm local to the Twin Cities so I thought I should try this restaurant a few times to confirm my initial positive experience at lunch. The first dinner visit was with traveler friends who enjoy unusual menu options and insisted that we all eat different...More
We brought our son to dinner for his 19th. While he is not an adventurous eater he said we could choose, so we did. He didn't enjoy his meal, but he LOVED the amazing lemonade that is sweetened with honey, and I concurred. My husband...More
