Overall, my girlfriend and I had a phenomenal experience here and will absolutely be going back. I recommend the following: - Get here early. The wait was over an hour at 7pm on a Tuesday. We would have been disappointed, but fortunately there was room...More

Met a couple here for dinner on Saturday night. Reservations aren't accepted, but don't fret - just get something from the bar and enjoy some conversation while you wait. It went pretty quickly (we were told it's best to arrive before 6:00pm to minimize your...More

It's been over 5 years since I've eaten at Broders' Pasta Bar so my wife and I were very excited to finally go back. It was a Friday night and they don't take reservations (interestingly, because I think their other restaurants do take reservations), so...More

My wife and I visited Broders Saturday evening. We arrived at 5:30 and were seated immediately at the pasta bar. The restaurant was really busy but we received prompt service from the wait staff and our water glasses were constantly refilled as well. I ordered...More

I had a very good experience. I found the menu to be varied enough and quality of the food to be very good. I had a pasta the pappardelle con agnello--with egg pasta, braised lamb, zucchini, black olives, and pecorino Romano. Very flavorful and right...More

Love this restaurant - we try to return to it every time we come to town. The restaurant is small, and combined with its popularity and no-reservations policy, there can be a wait. Don't let that stop you - the food is excellent and no...More

I thought we would beat the crowd by showing up right as they opened at 4:30. We walked in, were seated, and to my amazement, the place was full by 4:35! That's always a good sign! The food had lots of flavor, and the service...More

So we arrived at 6:40 pm on a Thursday night, having called earlier and being told wait times were relatively short. We were then told that the wait time was 45 minutes. Checked with the hostess at 7:20, told that we would be seated in...More

Going to Broder's has been one of our standby restaurants for over the last ten years. Last weekend my wife and I visited and found to our disappointment a new menu ( a new chef said the waiter). Some similar items but many newer fare....More

Been going to Broder's for almost 20 years. The menu changed from time to time but was full of reliable and accessible old favorites. No more. With a new chef few dishes survived, including my go-to shrimp dish. Now it seems that half the dishes...More

The Pasta Bar does not deliver. Broders does have another deli across the street that does deliver excellent pizza and other Italian hot and cold foods.

Since 1994 Broders' Pasta Bar has been serving house made and quality imported pastas and risottos, focusing both on Italian regional traditions as well as seasonal & local ingredients. We source from Midwest farms, when possible, and grow vegetables in our own parking lot garden (weather permitting, of course!) but really, it's about the pasta.

Located across W. 50th Street from Broders’ Cucina Italiana, the original deli and specialty food shop, Molly and Tom Broder opened the Pasta Bar - to cook the pasta they were selling the way it was meant to be: fresh, al dente, perfectly sauced and thoughtfully executed.

Still, and always, family owned and operated, Broders' continually strives to serve great Italian food and wine from our corner in Southwest Minneapolis. We hope to welcome you, whether at the Cucina, Pasta Bar, or the newest addition, Terzo, our contemporary Italian restaurant & wine bar.
