No line when we went. Very nice, helpful staff. Lunch was good. Can't really say more. I will try it again and hope that I have the experiences that many other reviewers are having.

We went in for lunch with the whole family. Waited in line for a bit, but well worth the wait! Excellent food, service and atmosphere! Such a great find!

Everything is excellent, everything. You can't go wrong, food wise. Their prices are fabulous for the quanity and quality...made to order..online ordering..very fresh. Cheerful, helpful service, they bent over backwards to please, accepted the Groupon gracefully and properly, and even packed a lil extra sauce for this condiment queen. Clean comfortable, a mix of take-out, dine -in and outdoor seating.... More

On every occasion that I have ever gone here, the food has always been outstanding. Veggie Fantastic is so very yummy! Sambusas? Order three, you won't be disappointed. There is nothing on the menu that is off limits. Everything is great! A word to the wise, however, is if you are able, don't arrive at noon, though the wait isn't... More

Chicken Fantastic, sanbusas and Somalian Tea are what makes this place wonderful. I prefer the location in Cedar Riverside because of the outdoor patio, but the St. Paul location has the same standard of preparation and taste. I have taken many a friend and family member here and they soon become repeat customers as well.

I had never heard of Afro Deli before, but wanted to try something new. I was surprisingly pleased with my meal. I had the Somali Steak Sandwich. The African spices weren't too spicy, and the meal was satisfying. I wasn't sure if just a sandwich would be enough, so I had ordered a side of their Somali rice, but ended... More

I've been here several times and have never been disappointed. As a vegetarian, I usually go with the falafel sandwich and vegetable sambusas. The food is flavorful and done just right – even the french fries are perfect. I visit every time I'm in Minneapolis.

I guess everyone talks a lot about Afro Deli's food but I like their music selection too! The place is usually filled with people and that means you will have to wait for food. If you are open minded and do not have aversion to jazz/blues, you will like the time spent waiting for food. Now, food. Its good and... More
