We hadn't made a booking so when 7 of us arrived for an impromptu dinner we were lucky enough to be seated at the bar. This was nice as we were able to mingle more in between courses but the food was no different. Great service from the guys at the bar, very happy to provide recommendations for both food... More

It been very difficult to get reservations for this restaurant since its opening. So I was looking forward to finally going there. But I was disappointed that it was rather ordinary. The menu was small with nothing exceptional. Although the food was OK, it was not special in any way. I did not notice anything on the menu that was... More

Innovative, welcoming and wonderful! Our server was the best - knowledgeable and helpful but unobtrusive. Expensive but worth it for a special dinner.

It was not bad, but overall pretty disappointing. If you're in MSP on a Friday find a fish fry instead.

What I really love about this place is that the food is fresh and the ingredients are good quality. My friend is gluten and dairy intolerant, and our excellent server, Christine, really took that extra step and made a conscious effort to give him great options that did not leave us hungry! She was always there with a huge smile... More

Had great expectations for this exclusive place despite negative reviews and the reviews were spot on. Food was interesting, different, but nothing to blow your socks off. However, if you want a dark place, hidden away where no one will see you (for a discreet affair) this would be the place. Otherwise, Minneapolis has so many better options with much... More

I am truly embarrassed to admit that I spent $22.00 on one large carrot and great northern beans for my Entrée. The other two people had a fish entrée called grilled Cisco. Some kind of white fish from Duluth, MN. $32.00 each. Closest thing to fish jerky I have ever tasted. I am exaggerating only to the point that it... More

We make it a point to go to TBF when we come to MN. Literally have dreams about their popovers with honey butter. We have always had lovely experiences here. We tend to go during their Sunday meals with a set menu of dishes. So happy to have had another great meal!
