Very very nice Chinese food. All the way from American friendly dishes to very uniquely Chinese - from beef, chicken and pork to tofu! Loved it and we will return. Their specialties are NOT spicy Chinese dishes.

Went with another couple much more well versed in true Chinese cooking than we were. I like spicy and my wife much more middle of the road. My hot and spicy shrimp was very tasty and prepared very well but definitely not over hot or spicy. Wife's sweet and sour chicken was just what she loved and just what you... More

If you are into Chinese cuisine then Mandarin Kitchen should Definitely be on your list. Serving variobokchoy in garus Chinese dishes, I prefer their dumplings. Fresh/hot and very soft. Right off the oven as the saying goes. Tried the steamed dumplings and loved their shrimp and pork steamed dumplings. Also worth a mention their fried dumplings filled with juicy pork.... More

I decided I really wanted Dim Sum while we were in the Twin Cities area so I did a little research and found the Mandarin Kitchen. There was a group of 5 of us and the place was PACKED when we got there. That's usually a good sign so we encouraged, and also glad we got there early. I put... More

To avoid the wait for Dim Sum on the weekend, get there when the doors open, or plan to have 5+ people in your party. Coming from the West Coast, I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors and freshness. The Hagaow and Siewmai were good, along with the head-on fried shrimp. It's easy to get carried away in trying different... More

Had the roast duck for lunch. Worst lunch ever. All bones and fat. Hardly any meat. At least the bathrooms smelled lemony.

I was told by a Chinese co-worker of mine that this restaurant prepared foods that were very authentic and traditional. My kids were adventurous enough to try it out (three teenagers who are a bit picky). We arrived about 12:30 on a Saturday and it was in the midst of the lunch rush. We were seated right away but were... More

They have tanks filled live fresh seafood. They also have Peking ducks hanging in front. Share a duck and seafood meal with friend. This place is awesome.

Great real Chinese food in the most traditional way. They have Saturday and Sunday dim sum. Authentic to the core. Not your General Tso chicken sort of a place. Try it. You will like it.

My third experience with them was horrible. We checked in and was told there would be a 20 min wait for the 4 of us. 20 mins goes by and we are still waiting but guests with party of 5 or more are being seated. We finally had enough and asked them how much longer. We were told they had... More
