We went there for lunch buffet on a Saturday. The service was quick, a couple of customers were there, and most of the room was empty. There were both meat and vegetables curry dishes, the taste was OK, but not great. Naan was overcooked dry. The food was a little bit warmer than the room temperature. It is $12.99 per... More
India Palace's great lunch buffet can't be beat. I usually visit the Woodbury, MN location, this India Palace lived up to my expectations. Always a variety of Indian food which is fantastic because I would never know what to order from the menu. I love this place.
We love this place. The buffet us great with a variety of Indian cuisine. The goat and Lamb are best and what we go for. Ordering from the menu is great as well and I think the price us good for what you're getting. Don't forget to try their mango lassi, it's like a smoothie. Great food. Great hospitality.
This review is only for the veg biryani that I ordered to-go. It was the dumbest dish I've ever seen in life. It was just some tomato rice with other vegetables added such as peas, potato, carrot, etc. There didn't seem to be a single spice that's typically used in Biryani. Moreover tomatoes, onions, nuts were all raw! Quality of... More
I know Taste of India has been in business at this location for over 29 years. I've visited it on many occasions and have taken friends there from time to time. I can honestly say I've never been disappointed. If you are in the mood for something other than the regular american fare, this is a good place to visit.... More
I have dined at Taste of India and was able to go there again recently and have to say, this restaurant is fantastic. Until I ate there, my view of Indian food was not positive. My experience with true Indian cuisine has made me a lover of this type of food. It is delicious. At Taste of India the food... More
We had been driving by for years, and had an opportunity to stop in. I had the tomato soup, which was nice. I ordered it medium spicy, and was just right. I had the scallop makhani for my entree. The scallops were nice and tender, and the sauce was excellent. I ordered mine medium, but next time I might order... More
We visited on a Sunday night and were the only people in. The food tasted like it was just warmed up, not very fresh and the flavors were very average. The entrees arrived before we'd finished the starters. And the mango ice cream tasted like it'd been frozen for years.
Nice variety of Indian favorites. Tasty. Affordable. A great way to try many items and learn what you like--and don't like!
