It always a treat to eat here. One the finest places to eat in Southeast MN. The service is great and the food as well. Sad to say this is the last year they will be open. You need to get here before they close.

Definitely make reservations if wanting to eat at Intermission. We went there before the play next door. Service was friendly and fast. Ambiance was warm and inviting. Salmon with dill sauce and pork tenderloin was fabulous! We also tried the Apple Brie soup which was savory sweet.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Intermission. Chef Dave did an amazing job preparing the food. We cannot remember having such great steak and pork loins. Service was great as well! We would definitely recommend to anyone going to be in Lanesboro.

We ate at Intermission twice during our stay in Lanesboro this year. Both meals were excellent, the wait staff and kitchen staff were very accomodating to my wife's food issues.

The food was very good small menu but offered fish, steak, pork and a shrimp pasta. Only served beer and wine no bar so for some this might not be the place for you. The prices were very reasonable .

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our dining experience at the Intermission Restaurant. The service, the food, and the wine were first rate in every respect! What a treasure in a small, lovely Minnesota town! The only disappointment was the music, which was some version of hard or metallic rock. Though played fairly quietly, it did NOT fit the context... My salad was awesome with a berry dressing to die for. The salmon was delicious. Wine was perfect. Only sorry we didn't have room for dessert. Our waiter was excellent as well. Highly recommend.

What a surprise, delicious sparkling melon soup was divine as was healthy veggie pasta. Charming place with warm friendly staff and doors away from fabulous musical comedy, Souvenir!

This was our first trip to Lanesboro so we asked what was good to eat. Well, it was almost 8:00pm and the front desk person at our hotel (Stone Mill Hotel) said it might be tough to find anywhere at that hour. But she said Intermission was the best food and she would call to see if they would get... More

We just attended a theater production in Lanesboro with extended family and wanted to have a nice pre-performance meal. Intermission "fit the bill." There were eight of us, which is often difficult for small restaurants to handle, but the service was great. It has an"artsy" non-chain restaurant feel. The food was well prepared and presented and the wine selection was... More

Intermission is the best restaurant in and near Lanesboro, Minnesota. Great food perpared by a gifted Chef! Chef Dave creates the menu and prepares all the entrees. It might take longer when we are full but it will taste awesome! We do encourage reservations. This helps with timing the orders to the kitchen. That is what make us unique, Chef Dave is doing the cooking. And man can he cook!
