I ordered the Maki combo, I like getting a few different things so it's great. Good sushi. Waitress was super friendly. Prices have gone up a bit but that's how it goes. Always a bit strange that it is connected to a gas station but it's a great sushi stop.

Passing through Duluth as tourists and picked this for an early dinner close to our hotel. Super all around. The appetizer sampler was top of the line...wantons, pot stickers, dumplings, and tempura sweet potato fries. We had rice bowls, excellent. Miso soup was very good. Sushi roll was done well. Great attentive service. It was located as an attachment to... More

I have eaten a-lot of sushi and must say I am very disappointed. The staff was unsure of what they were doing and we're quite rude. Much of it tasted store bought. Two points for effort.

This is my favorite restaurant! service is great and food is great. We moved to Duluth about 3 years ago and out of all the places we've tried in the city, this is by far my most favorite place to eat.

Great as always! We get wasabi wontons, which are Delish! I really like that the spicy tuna is whole and seasoned not "chopped and mixed"! Such a small, family feel and the staff remembers you, love that!

Sushi in Duluth.... attached to a gas station? Yes please! You will not regret it. My favorite place to stop in for lunch while shopping in Duluth. The staff is super friendly and the food is amazing. Oh and great prices too!

Tried Zen House for the first time at lunch. Tempura calamari was heavenly, sashimi sampler was fresh and great portion. Miso soup can taste off and oily, Zen House's was great. Hard to believe a sushi place sharing a building with a gas station would shine. Can't wait to try other treats on the big menu.

Zen House is a super place to have a nice meal. The food is good, presented nicely. I loved that they had Japanese music playing and not American. What I can recommend to Zen House owner(s)...please do some regular cleaning on the place. The windows have water marks streaming down the sides. The carpet desperately needs cleaning. Make sure the... More

The Zen House has great starters, sushi rolls, sashimi and octopus skewers. The atmosphere is lacking because the restaurant is in a gas station building; but it's fairly pleasant inside. The service is better than Hanabi's and the waiting time is very short. Nice lunch or casual dinner spot.
