We visited the Brass Rail in April 2015. We were there outside of normal eating hours, so there weren't a lot of tables taken. However, even with the small crowd, it did take a long time for our food (and check) to arrive. The chicken was really good. The wedge fries were fairly good, my wife really enjoyed the cole... Best chicken, curds and coleslaw in the county for less than ten bucks! Packed on a Tuesday at 5:30, but worth the wait! I need to go here more often! The patio and extra room will be nice. Mmm, mmm, good!

We have been to The Brass Rail many times and love their chicken. This time though the service was horrible. They have added on to the restaurant with another big room and two patios and do not have enough wait staff to handle the crowd.

The hype and news is for a good reason! They have amazing chicken but above and beyond that they are great people. It is a wonderful atmosphere and you can tell they work hard. Great food and great people equals a good recipe in my book. Well done Brass Rail!

We arrived at the Brass Rail at 1:00 PM on a Tuesday afternoon after long hearing about their broasted chicken. There was no parking on the street out front but plenty behind the restaurant. When we went in the main seating area was about half full. I mention this because many of the poor reviews seem to be about poor... More

Due to a recent review on TV or facebook, I can't remember which, we made a special trip (one hour out of our way) to eat lunch there on a Thursday at 12:30 PM. The place was full. We got the last table. We never got waited on. People who came in after us got waited on. Tables were given... More

This was our first trip back to the Brass Rail since they completed their expansion. It's about a 1.5 hour drive which was being made specifically for the meal, so was looking forward to some great chicken. The restaurant was packed so we had to sit in the new section, which has a cheap cafeteria look. It took about 15... More

Our family had a delicious meal ay The Brass Rail in Grandy, MN. Grandy is just a tiny little town if you would even call it that, don't blink or you'll drive right through it andf miss out on the best broasted chicken ever. Their coleslaw is out of this world too and it's been daid that the owner Donna... More

Went there with some friends to eat and I thought the chicken was gross. The 3 other people I was with liked it. We also had shrimp that no one liked, and a burger that looked like it came from McDonalds. I was not impressed. Service sucks and is slow.
