Right next to the lift bridge!! Family or grown up dining. You will not be disappointed! Have been several times. Consistently good food, with generous portions. Fair Prices. Great Service. Fun decor that came out of "Grandma's" house. Love the Walleye, almost as good as eating it after catching it yourself.

We attended a local charity fundraiser that was held at Grandma's. They had a huge turnout, live music, great food, decent service. Lots of TVs for watching sporting events, plenty of bar seating, and lots of regular tables to enjoy a meal. They have a lot of employees on hand so finding service is never a problem.

I would be willing to bet that a lot of people don't even know there is an upstairs here. Yes they have a full bar, pool tables, darts other games and a sweet juke box that you can run from your smart phone. They also have an outdoor patio with an up close view of the lift bridge. A great... More

This is a really lively/popular place and definitely one you need to try. Started off with the Chicken Wild Rice Soup which was amazing. Ordered the Walleye Shore Lunch Platter. Wanted to try walleye and was not disappointed. Cooked perfectly. Comes served on rice pilaf with a small serving of seasoned veggies. Our group of six ordered ordered Ranch Fries... More

Grandma's is a Duluth institution, the restaurant is right on the water front. They have good home made food and always a good selection of local beers.

Grandma's never disappoints. Good selection of food that's well-prepared. The extra long benches of the booths allowed us to fit additional people at our table.

The Walleye cakes were cold, premade and not rewarmed well. They were a little dark and you can't tell if it's walleye or cod. The stuffed Mushrooms, barely any rice, and cheap undercooked black wild rice, completely covered in a soupy sauce and a ton of melted cheese. A real mess. Caprese appt. nothing more than deep fried store bought... More

Since 1976 Grandma’s Saloon & Grill has been a casual but lively adventure to the past where value and customer service are at the center of everything we do. You’re surrounded by authentic antiques, collectibles, and an eager staff ready and willing to please. The award winning food includes overstuffed sandwiches and burgers; USDA choice steaks; house specialty pasta and wild rice dishes; appetizers include nationally recognized homemade onion rings, chicken wings, and stuffed mushrooms. It’s an eyeful as well as a mouthful. The legacy of customer satisfaction has been handed down by the Italian immigrant who started it all, “Grandma” Rosa Brochi. Everything she did in her early boarding house business included “100% customer satisfaction,” words that we still live by today. Grandma’s Saloon & Grill is real history, real antiques, real service, and really good food! A dining experience of legendary indulgence. The original Grandma’s Saloon & Grill is located at the foot of the historic Aerial Lift Bridge, at the tip of Lake Superior. Seasonal deck dining and the new rooftop lounge includes this spectacular view.
