This restaurant has a very good menu to choose from and the food is prepared quickly while tasting amazingly. The wait staff is all smiles and welcoming. The gift shop has a great selection of clothing and food preparation items.

Grandma's restaurants have the same menu and specials, my favorite dinner at their Virginia MN store is the steak kabobs. The two stores in Duluth just don't get it right. I don't understand. The last time we ate at this restaurant the meat was so tough we couldn't chew it. They took a dollar off our bill.

We had lunch here while visiting the area. The service was very good. We each had a burger, which was good. Hubby ordered onion rings with his instead of the fries. The onion rings were the largest that I have ever seen & were delicious! Good Bloody Mary full of goodies! Fun place with a great atmosphere.

We stop here twice a year. Always fun and pretty good food. I have the French Onion soup which is great and their Buffalo wings. My son loves their spaghetti and meatballs.

Yeah, this is a bit more (quite a bit more) than Grandma's home cooking (nothing will ever outdo my own dear Grandma's kitchen aroma). This is one fantastic place as is so many others in Duluth and of course Superior. Been awhile since being there so when I have to answer the question of when we visited and the only... More

Stopped off for lunch after visiting the nearby aquarium. Couldn't work up the courage to order fish, but the meat loaf was good (had better, but it is still worth the money). Add a Grandma's special brewed beer and I had the fuel to fight the cold. My wife's Ruben sandwich was loaded with tender corned beef and plenty of... More

We stopped here for lunch on our way up north and as usual it was great! We always get the wild rice soup and it is always wonderful! Perfect for a cold day. In addition we tried the chicken pot pie and it was also great. It had huge pieces of chicken breast and the small size was more than... More

Good food. Service has always been good every time I go. There is a good size menu but it's hard to pass up the classic wild rice soup especially on a chilly day by the lake!

Grandma's is always the go to place when we are in Duluth. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is the best. The pan fried walleye fillet is fantastic and the wild rice with the white wine sauce is phenomenal.

Thank Paul K

Since 1976 Grandma’s Saloon & Grill has been a casual but lively adventure to the past where value and customer service are at the center of everything we do. You’re surrounded by authentic antiques, collectibles, and an eager staff ready and willing to please. The award winning food includes overstuffed sandwiches and burgers; USDA choice steaks; house specialty pasta and wild rice dishes; appetizers include nationally recognized homemade onion rings, chicken wings, and stuffed mushrooms. It’s an eyeful as well as a mouthful. The legacy of customer satisfaction has been handed down by the Italian immigrant who started it all, “Grandma” Rosa Brochi. Everything she did in her early boarding house business included “100% customer satisfaction,” words that we still live by today. Grandma’s Saloon & Grill is real history, real antiques, real service, and really good food! A dining experience of legendary indulgence. The original Grandma’s Saloon & Grill is located at the foot of the historic Aerial Lift Bridge, at the tip of Lake Superior. Seasonal deck dining and the new rooftop lounge includes this spectacular view.
