This is a picturesque little ice cream stand that occupies an old gas station. It's a tiny building which maybe can hold 3-4 workers, max. I have never seen anyone here not working hard. So when people complain about how long it takes to make...More

While the outside of this old building looks darling, what is NOT cute is the lack of customer service. I don't think the workers could be more ineffective or more apathetic about the wait. It's evident that the ice cream servers were not trained or...More

I was staying at a near-by hotel and could see people lined up all day long at this place. My curiosity got the better of me one afternoon and I stopped over for a single scoop of the praline pecan ice cream in a waffle...More

I have been here a couple of times. I love their malts. They are of good size and not a bad price. The one gripe I do have is their window system is a little difficult to fathom. If you are at the wrong window,...More

On a whim we stopped by to enjoy some ice cream on a hot day. The line looked daunting but we stuck it out and it was worth the wait.

this early 20th century gas station has been lovingly preserved as a seasonal ice cream shop. Genuine mid-western Malts.. Thick and creamy. Always seems to be busy. no seating but who needs it -- lovely lawn with a few mature trees. Lake views.

They make malts right! Got the butterscotch malt and it was so great. My husband got the strawberry malt and loved it. Cute place, Will be back!

The malts are worth talking about for a long time. A bit pricey for what you get. But it is a unique ice cream treat place by the historic Fitgers Brewery and shopping mall.

Delicious ice cream in a cute little spot on the lake. I got two scoops - one Peanut Butter Cup, one Chocolate - and both were rich and delicious. The prices are super reasonable, too. The only downside is that there was a line of...More
