If you want to bicyclee here from Perham, I recommend the beautiful bike trail along Highway 34 and then a couple of miles down Highway 35. It is a much more pleasant and lower traffic trip than Highway 78 and Highway 108 west. The bar has enough options that a vegetarian can find options to make a meal. Baked potatoes are even on the menu. I had a glass of tomato juice, coleslaw and grilled cheese sandwich. There are several other potato options, cheese curds and fried green beans.
I liked some of the art inside.

Been here a couple of times. Nice icey cold brews! Hard working bartenders and wait staff. Good food too. Floor could be a bit cleaner and they need to wash outside windows a more often. North woods cabin decor. Overall nice place, fun friendly atmosphere. We like it

My husband and I both had the rib eye steak, the steak had no seasoning,tough and tastless. There was as much fat as there was meat, we won’t be back anytime soon.

Dougie has made his outdoor patio one of the best! When he has live music this is a must go to bar and grill! Ok first have an delicious dinner or appetizer, yiur favorite drink of choice, watch a game on one of the many TVs, then ince the band starts up, head outside where there is ample, comfortable octagon table seating, theres and outdoor bar, a dance floor and enjoy! Keep in mind its MN so if it gets too cold (really?). Bring a sweatshirt, and some bug spray. The Renn band was there last night, wow you can tell these guys were veterans in the business, they hit every note, played beyond expectation (they can play those guitars!) and every genre of music! So you could request if you wanted. This bar is tucked on the corner of Main in Dent so stop in, have a bite, a beet, or play tabs or pool. Whatever but their patio and bands are top notch!!!! Ample parking for vehicles AND bikes!!

Great place to stop in Dent for a meal and a few drinks. Stop in Thursday at 5pm for $1.50 burgers, they are great!

While work camping in the area and after a very long day went here on a Sunday evening for dinner. Service was extremely slow but very friendly staff. Waited so long for food I ordered that I had to request take out. Food was OK but then I only had an appetizer so I don't think it is far to comment further.
Jukebox came on blasting and next table complained and it was turned down to moderate. All in all it was not a bad place to spend an hour or so.

Have been there the last two Thursdays and stopped in on Saturday afternoon (rainy). Had the special on the two Thursdays, softshells or hardshells for $1 each. Food was very good and the drinks we had were good.
Stopped on Saturday afternoon for a bloody mary and played the electronic pulltab machine. Had a great time and great service.
Both Thursdays we stopped we had two employees ask how our food and drinks were. They really cared that we were happy.
I would go back.

Pretty much you can't go wrong with their food. I have had many different things from Appetizers, to Burgers and other sandwiches, to Ribs and Steaks. The Food is always cooked good and tastes great. They have free popcorn, the place is clean, you can also eat in a side room from the bar area. There is also Hard Scooped Ice Cream for desert. My only pick on this place is they often are very busy and don't have enough staff on and the ATM rarely works so make sure you have Cash if you want to pay that way or do Pull-tabs. They do take Credit Cards and Checks as payment also.

We went here on a Sunday afternoon to have a burger. The place was busy for a Sunday at 4:00. They had a very nice wine pour, and the draught beer was local and very nice. The burgers were good and we appreciated that we were able to choose a smaller size burger. Fries were average. Great small town atmosphere and worth the drive. Come here in the fall when the leaves are turning.

Ok Dent has the testical festival- a must see. No its NOT Sturgis, out door patio setting, casual band and yea the local bars partake in sheepballs fried for your tasting!
Dougout is FUN, modern, great patio!! Great all american food, liquor store on site, Doug and Amanda are amazing! Fun Up North touch! Meat raffles, tvs to watch the games, just a casual nice clean place. Family friendly! Stop in!!!
