Nice clean club,good service,wide selection of drinks. Little crowded but great atmosphere,bar manager was certainly a highlight

We pencilled in a visit to this Club during an overnight stopover in Mackay, purely to watch the AFL Grand Final and it’s name (our boys follow Collingwood Magpies). Although I received no response to a question asked a week prior via the Club’s contact...email on their website, I received a speedy response through Facebook messenger and we followed through with our visit. We were impressed by the size, service and food that was served. There was a slight hiccup initially with the TV sound at the start of the game, but was rectified fairly quickly. The gaming room is huge and the cafe is very popular too. Coffee wasn’t great, burnt, but the desserts and sportsbar burgers were yum. Recently we stayed at the Stamford Plaza in Brisbane, a 5 star hotel with private toilet & vanity cubicles in the common areas. To find the same individual restroom setup at a Sports Club in Mackay was fantastic and unexpected! Really happy with our visit there and the locals are lucky to have it.More

Rib fillet nearly uneatable, Vietnamese stir fry terrible, pokies returning approx 2% return. Only give one star because the beer is cold. Don’t think I will ever go back.More

Great food for prices, very nice ambiance quite a good club if you are into clubs and pokies etc, good parking which is important for some travellers

If you're planning a visit here I would book if possible as this is a really popular venue. Staff are really friendly and meals are generous us portion and presented well. A good variety of meal types are offered including gluten free and vegan options.

We decided to try this club on a Friday night. Bar prices are reasonable with a good selection of beers on tap. The Centro casual dining was in some ways disappointing. My steak was cooked not to my preference however was tender and enjoyable. The...veges however were okay but were not hot when received. The chicken palma was quite good though. Although busy the service was below par in my opinion. In the time we sat there the waitresses, in some cases 3 of them were just standing around chatting while food was sitting underneath the heat lights and not being served to patrons.
