This place offers what seems to be typical mexican food. I am not an expert in Mexican food but their food looks very much like any restaurant in Mexico in my opinion and experience while in Mexico. Food is very tasty and freshly made. The lady at the bar was very nice and friendly. Food took a little long but... More

We went in for a break from shopping Mall of America. Drinks are huge and a great price. I found it a little unusual to pay for chips and salsa. Staff was fun.

Dropped in here while walking around the mall. Service was good and friendly. The place was clean and the menu was decent. Prices seemed a bit high but then again the location warrants it. The food was decent - but under seasoned. Chips and salsa were good but not spicy. Potato appetizers needed seasoning. The fish tacos were ok- lacking... More

Came here after a long day of shopping hoping to grab some tasty eats. The service at the bar was very slow, margaritas were not very good and the nachos were very unappealing. We left extremely dissatisfied. If you're at the MOA and want some tasty mexican, there is another mexican restaurant called Cantina Laredo...spend your money there!! It's much... More

I decided to go on an outing by Light Rail (Mpls Metro Transit) to the Mall of America to see how that all worked. While I was at it, I realized that I was hungry so I wandered the mall to the 4th level and found the Cantina #1 restaurant! I was greeted warmly and quickly shown to my table... More

Came here with a friend for some drinks. It was a cute setup, like a Hawaiian theme. I ordered a daiquiri that came in a pineapple and a separate glass. It was good but some kind of plastic wrapper got in there and I had to send it back for a new one. I felt bad but the staff was... More

This place was open late where most of the other places were closing around 10 restaurant wise. They had karaoke going and a fun atmosphere. Did not try the food as we had just come a business dinner. Drinks good, service decent.

Okay, so we originally stopped in for lunch while shopping at the mall of America on a Sunday, ordered margaritas right away as we sat down. As we sat there debating what to order, we realized that the place looked like it wasn't well taken care of, seating was faded, booth stitching ripped, not the cleanest looking...then my sister and... Wife and I ate here on a Saturday night. The MOA was hopping, and most places said they had an hour or two wait to be seated. Cantina got us in right away. Large dinning area. We had a table that over looked the park. That was fun to watch all the rides do their thing. We received our food... More

The chicken fajitas were decent but mainly peppers and onions and not a lot of chicken. The rice was pretty over cooked and dry. The fish tacos were pretty good.
