I have been coming here for years. Wonderful place to have a meal. Awesome staff and good food for a reasonable price.

On a cold wintry night, the first thing I noticed was that the front door was kept open. There was an entry way and another door, but still it was strange. The place was decorated for Valentine's Day and was cozy. Our waitress was honest...More
A local favorite, having been here many times I generally go with a steak for dinner (always cooked just the way I want it) or their famous BLT for lunch. Not a fancy sort of restaurant but clean, reliable, and comfortable environment with extremely nice...More
First of all the restrooms, downstairs, are very old and dingy. That' s fine, Haab's is old. But the smell! Haab's has been around since the 1930s, well, the restrooms smell like the toilets haven't been flushed since then. Just a stench of stale urine...More

Haab's is where to go if you are craving some old fashioned American comfort food: meatloaf, liver and onions, fried chicken, pot roast. The staff is always very friendly.
Haab's is a family favorite, with a 4 star- AAA rating, serving comfort food to Ypsilantians past, present, and future - spanning over 5 decades!
