We've been regular customers of the Walloon Lake Inn for as long as it's been around - family history on the lake stretches back to 1930 - so it was with some trepidation that we visited it for the first time after its recent purchase and renovation. What we found is that its reputation for excellent food has been maintained... More

Very small crowd but willing staff to serve us. Menu was more limited than I expected for an advertised "brunch". But my wife loved the quiet, the view and he ambience.

Very good filet, was a little disappointed that it was dark out to not enjoy the water view, go in the daytime for a nice view. My wife's birthday was mentioned and usually at other restaurants a little dessert would be offered, none here. A little disappointing.

Accessible by boat and car. The restaurant is known for Fine Dining and it's suggested to make reservations. Make sure to try the traditional Michigan Adult Desert the "Hummer " and their own creation the Hummingbird. Dine indoor or outdoor

The restaurant did a great job with our party of ten. The food was perfectly prepared and served hot. The wine list was also outstanding. We will be back.

The rooms are first class, the service top notch, and The Walloon Lake Inn was fantastic. We sat outside and enjoyed a wonderful meal of whitefish as well as walleye.

Recently, my wife and I dined at the Walloon Lake Inn. For our entrees we both had the Porcini Crusted Whitefish that was outstanding. The crust was crunchy and full of porcini mushroom flavor. However, the whitefish was so moist and flavorful. This was served over Mushroom Risotto, an Asparagus-Basil Coulis and Red Cabbage Mustard. This was best preparation of... More

There's a real chef at work here, and the food couldn't be better. We've been dining here for many years and the new chef, who recently took over from the previous chef/owner is producing some truly delicious menu offerings. The menu itself eschews the exoctic in favor of delivering on the basics, although the basics are often executed with creative... More

This is a lovely place to see the sunset and then go for a candlelit dinner at this beautifully restored old home on the lake. The food is wonderfully prepared, great wine selection, and service is always friendly and unobtrusive. We love it here and it is a special treat.
