We dined here while staying nearby and had great food and service. We started with Local Cottage Bacon Pizza -Farm Country white cheddar, mozzarella, pickled ramps, crème fraiche for $12 It was very good. They split it for us since my wife did not want ramps on her side. My wife ordered the Lamb Meatball Carbonara -Sweet Grass Farms ground... More

The desserts at Amical are tops in TC. If you like to be close to the action, the covered curb side seating has a fun vibe, but if you want a romantic dinner, ask for a table at the back overlooking the Boardman river.

Absolutely delicious tomato soup en croute, husband had the best chicken pot pie in 20 years. And he loves chicken pot pie! Great view and great service. Dessert selection should be illegal!

Drove 7 hours to Traverse City. Left beautiful 80 degree weather for windy, chilly, cloudy Traverse City. We still enjoyed our walk through Front Street despite the weather and lots of road fatigue. After a picturesque drive to the Old Mission lighthouse past the cherry trees in bloom and the still dormant grape vines, we ventured back to Front Street... More

I don't recall reviewing Amical for Trip Advisor previously, but my wife and I have eaten there a dozen or so times over the years. Not only is the food consistently delicious, and often interesting, but the staff always makes guests feel special. Our most recent trip was for Mothers' Day Brunch. To start, my wife ordered a mimosa. I... More

Over the years I keep coming back to this restaurant's version of Croque Monsieur for a lunch meal as the best I have found anywhere. Nobody does it better! I did see someone's unhappy review of their Croque Madam and I can only say it must have been an aberration! This can be a very busy restaurant; but, we have... More

I eat here a couple times every time in Traverse City. Everything is good from coffee to cocktails to appetizers/mains/desserts. The service is excellent. I love the cozy feel.

Went today for brunch. 2 of us ordered the Croque Madame. (Poached egg over croissant.) Both our eggs came as a boiled egg that was almost powder. (Over cooked as a hard boiled egg as well). Side potatoes were burnt and dried. Waiter took both of ours back and returned them and they were poached this time. Croissant itself was... More

Good food, nice atmosphere. Will definitely go back. Always a destination when in TC. Love sitting outside in the summer and watch the hustle and bustle of the town.
