This is hands down one of my go to brunch locations in town. The menu has the right mix of sweet and savory, excellent coffee, wonderful mimosas and a pastry case to dream about several days after your visit. BUT keep in mind that the wait is usually long, worth it, but long (good things come to those who wait.)... More

The restaurant is small and quaint and was quite busy at 10 am on a Saturday morning, but we were offered a seat at the bar and we decided to take it. The menu had many different items to choose from like specialty omelets and fluffy French pancakes served with real whipped cream among many others. The coffee is freshly... More

During a recent girls trip to Traverse City we tried Patisserie Amie for lunch and it was so amazing we went back the next day. If you are a coffee drinker you must try the Moka it was delicious. Their sandwiches are huge and amazing. Everything that we tried was superb and in a beautiful atmosphere.

If a restaurant is off Front Street, it parallels off Broadway in Manhattan. That means less noise, true discoveries and in this case, perfection. It is so good, I hate to let visitors know about it. Get there before closing at 2:00 pm. My special of the day, Crabmousfrit 'a La sardou, was so well cooked, had such a fine... More

We had the special omlets of the day...a French omlette with brie, ham and mixed greens and a pesto pasta omlette with bechamel sauce. All I can say beyond the fact that the flavors were explosive and purely heavenly, is that Patisserie Amie is an example of stunning technique combined with the best ingredients. I have never tasted such a... More

Food is amazing! Unlike anything we've ever had. My husband had Croque Madame (Ham, Cheese, Bechamel), I had the Gaufres Aux Noix (Walnut Waffle almost caramelized crispy crust with candied orange slices and chantilly). The first day I had the Eggs Benedict "Oeufs Henry IV" with Beef filets, artichoke and bearnaise which I could cut with a fork! Oh and... More

My husband and I ate at numerous restaurants when we were on vacation in Traverse City, and Patisserie Amie was recommended by a couple of friends. We ate there for a latish breakfast, and I had the Norwegian eggs--poached eggs, hollandaise, gravlax, and cucumbers. TASTY! The place is fairly small, and going later (and on a weekday) was good because... More
