More bar than restaurant. Head outside if the weather's nice, great view along the river. Sandwiches were decent, and the chips were amazing! Bar staff seemed to congregate and gossip, but service was prompt and friendly. TVs inside if you want to watch sports.
Always a good time to sit and talk with friends and eat pub grub. This place is usually hopping in the summer, a favorite for visitors. Although the Idler offers seaside food, don't expect an upscale place. Leave your heels and dress pants at home....More
The food is pretty good. The beer is great in a bucket. Your drinks might melt fast if the sun is high and hot, but the views and fun on the Idler speaks of great Summer fun! Always have to make at least one trip...More
