My daughter and I stumbled upon this place while driving in Sault Ste Marie looking for a place to have lunch. We like Mexican food, so we figured we'd give it a try. The food was absolutely delicious! We started with chips and queso. We got a mix of corn and flour chips. Never had flour chips before--LOVED them! Also... More

Always a weekend stop. The chips and queso are the best. You can order half corn and half flour chips, if you want. Not ever a bad meal. They also serve the best margaritas in town.

I went to lunch with some business colleagues. I had a burger and salad which was good. A couple of the people had Taco salads which they enjoyed. One in our party got the boneless chicken wings and was very dissatisfied. Overall the service was good and mixed reviews on the food. Good burgers and mexican food.

If you find yourself in the Soo I highly recommend, no matter the weather getting a margarita from here. They are amazing and on special on Mondays! Great appetizers and great service really make this one of my favorite restaurants up here in the frozen north.

It was good. Was very Americanised Mexican cuisine. Tex mex but without all the spices and kick. It's a little pricey but it's a small business with a good atmosphere. Seems to be very popular with the locals. It's worth stopping in and trying.

We came in about 6pm we stood in line for about 5 minutes when the hostess told us 20, fantastic! Because the place was packed. We ordered the chicken bacon ranch nachos, some jalapeño shrimp nachos, and of course the queso!! Everything was perfect, and our waitress Megan was amazing. The whole experience was 10 outta 10 would nacho again.

We arrived between 5 and 6 on a Saturday afternoon and were seated immediately. (By the end of our meal the place was full). My wife had the shrimp nachos and she enjoyed them immensely. I had a combo plate with pulled pork. It was ok. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and made good suggestions for beverages. This was not... More

Specializing in Mexican and American cuisine, the Palace Saloon is the best restaurant in the Soo, and anyone who stops in for a meal or a drink is sure to realize that. Serving customers for over a century, the Palace Saloon has a history and reputation that can't be beat - and neither can its menu.

An amazing atmosphere, including a mahogany bar from 1903, with mood lighting and a comfortable ambiance make us the perfect choice for a night out with the family, a special date night with someone special, or just the best place to come for a delicious meal and an amazing drink.

Famous for our chili con queso and giant margarita menu, we offer a great variety of Mexican and American fares, including some of the original Mexican recipes from when the restaurant opened in 1903. We also offer great charbroiled steaks and burgers, fajitas, burritos, quesadillas and salads, sure to satisfy anyone's appetite.

The Palace Saloon also features daily margarita specials, like our current caramel apple margarita, and that's just one of a huge variety of specialty margaritas we're famous for. Along with that huge margarita special, we have a full bar with just about any drink you could want.

The soft lit restaurant gives you the feel of a night club, but the family friendly atmosphere makes the Palace Saloon the great place for everyone - from current regulars to brand new customers. Warm a cozy, we make sure your experience is perfect whether you're on a special date night or just having a night out on the town.

Daily specials at the Palace Saloon include our Margarita Mondays, Taco Tuesdays, Wing Wednesdays, Burger & Fries Thursdays, and steak specials.

Located conveniently near the Soo Locks, and famous for our chili con queso and margaritas, The Palace Saloon is the Soo's best gathering place for delicious food and fun, where old friends gather and new friends meet.
