The atmosphere is great. On the water and fantastic views. The drinks are cold but they only take cash. The food is bar food. The service is iffy. On a good day it is really a great time. On a bad day, you might get turned down for an other drink or sent home early. It is a weird thing.

We got to Red Dock every year to listen to our favorite local band, The Concussions, play. This place is super cool and the perfect venue for the band since they are surf rock. It's a little shack on the water with island cocktails and beer in a can. We sometimes will go paddle board down the river prior to... More

Just funky enough to be lots of fun and you can't beat the location. Love it and the food. Their sandwich choices are unique and always good. Full bar is available, but bring cash. No credit cards

We really enjoyed our visit to the Red Dock Cafe. The outdoor seating was perfect for the weather. My wife and I really enjoyed the Grateful Dead music and the chill vibe. The menu is somewhat limited (mostly sandwiches, a few salads and Chicago style hot dogs). Our food was decent but nothing was great. We'll come back but just... More

Arrived here, took a leisurely stroll down the dock (about 150 yards) to the bar/grill, anticipating a nice mid-afternoon snack and drinks - just in time to see the place closing. Come on, it's only 3:30! Disappointed!

This place is a great hangout with the best ambiance north of Miami. We came for an early evening drink and left with some fabulous pics. Try the sangria!

A cute dock restaurant/bar. A quirky little spot with lots of great 60's posters and memorabilia. Cold drinks and a decent menu. We had the pulled pork and shrimp wrap. Good portions and very tasty. The cold beer hit the spot on a hot and humid day after kayaking.

Dining on the dock was very pleasant. The scenery was great. Actually I had low expectations for the food but we were pleased. The sandwiches were large and fresh, the service was good and the pries were reasonable. This was the first time that we had been here but we will return. The music was a little loud for us... More

On recommendation from friends, we tried the Red Doc Cafe for a late-afternoon dinner... What a great place! It's situated on a doc on Kalamazoo River where it widens to the area of a good-sized lake.Watching the boats is entertainment enough, but the music is great, and you get the feeling you're in Key West :) Outdoor seating is on... There was a kitchen problem when we were there and service was quite slow. The food was average. It has a great view and the staff was very nice... they just couldn't get the food from the kitchen.
