Astoria pastry is a place of tradition, a greek family owned pastry which elaborates beautiful and delicious desserts. Regularly I love to buy cupcakes or slices of cake for a cheat meal during the weekend, I enjoy a lot the freshness of all the products. Some people say that it is more the name that actually the flavor, but for... More

As always, Astoria had a great selection of desserts for us to choose from after a great dinner in Royal Oak. The only dessert missing from the case tonight was their giant french macaron.

Great place to go on a date after dinner. There is a dessert for everyone! My personal favorite is the cannoli... or bumpy cake ice cream.. or lemon bar... or tiramisu. Ok it's all fantastic! Even if you save it for a couple days. The cannoli still stayed firm. No sogginess. Live Astoria and go there every chance I get!

Astoria Royal Oak is an alright pastry shop for elaborate sweets. If you're eating with your eyes, you will be impressed and overwhelmed by the choices. Unfortunately, the products are somewhat hit-or-miss. We've probably been half-a-dozen times in the last year. Certain items are always good, but when we branch out and try other stuff, we often get duds -... More

Both the Detroit and Royal oak locations are very good. My favorite it to get a pastry and coffee after a dinner at one of the local places. Always have a great selection and it's usually packed in the summer - which is a pretty good indication of quality.

This is a great place to go for a desert after seeing a movie at the Main Art Theater. Its a few blocks, but worth the walk. We sampled their Makinaw Fudge Ice Cream- it was a great as Baskin Robins.

The pastries never disappoint - they taste as good as they look! Always a treat to stop in and get some cookies to enjoy with morning coffee.

This used to be our go to for dessert. We have not been here for about a year due to us moving, but decided to take a drive out. I ordered the coconut cream pie, the filling was dense and bland, and the crust was dry and hard, definitely old. My wife ordered the chocolate cake, it was still half... More
