That atmosphere is lovely, an old house nicely decorated. The staff is friendly, helpfl and extremely accommodating. The big problems are the cheap tea sandwiches and over-the-top price. The sandwiches are ham spread, egg salad and lettuce wrap of fresh veggies in a ginger dressing. The dessert is a flourless chocolate cake--excellent--two scones per guest, very dry, and a lemon... Took my aunt there for her birthday. The new owners have keep the original items from the old menu and added a few unique items of their own(including crepes) and expanded the tea choices. The salad dressing was home made and the chicken pot pies with the tarragon gravy were delicious. On your birthday they offer you a choice of... More

The new owner has really freshened it up. It's bright, pretty and fresh. The menu has new and the familiar favorites. They have new menu items coming and will open for breakfast. The chandeliers are lovely as are the covered chairs. The food was very good. Loved the rose milk!! The scone was okay, served with a sweet butter. We... More

We have been here before and had a delightful experience. We went this time for their Christmas Tea event. The food was good. It was all planned out so there were no options, not even with tea flavors. We had a nice time visiting. Maybe they had another event that evening, but they began cleaning up even as guests were... AMAZING little tea house in Rochester Hills, hidden from main street. Lovely entrance and table. Variety of tea and menu items. I had salad and quiche which was amazing. The scones with butter that was flavored was over the top. The ladies showed us around and told us stories of older days. The china was quaint and we couldn't have... More

Our group of 9 people met for lunch. They served us 3 different kinds of tea, all served in pretty tea pots. For lunch I had the Chicken Pot Pie with a side of Victorian Salad & both were very good. Lunch came with dessert & we had a nice slice of chocolate cake. No problems with food nor service.... More
