We ate here two nights, the food was great and the staff helpful and friendly. Second night they had entertainment and that was nice.

We dined on an evening when the second waitress had called in sick. However, our server kept her cool and managed to juggle all of the tables with ease. Hats off to her! The food was very good. Highly recommended for a special occasion.

The Terrace Inn and 1911 Restaurant is located in the Historic Association of Bay View, established in 1875. The Inn opened in July 1911 and has been in continuous operation since. A Michigan Historic Landmark, the Inn continues to provide a home like atmosphere, amazing cuisine and quaint cottage-like accommodations. The restaurant has a full bar, and is open for dinner daily June through Labor Day and Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the fall and winter. The Inn closes March and November for spring and fall break. Thanksgiving, New Years, and Valentines offer fun packages and Paranormal Festival, Dixieland Jazz, and private events are held throughout the year. Known for fresh-planked whitefish..delicious steak with lump crab..crab cakes, pork chops with apple glaze, chicken hemingway with dried cherries and basil..and more the Inn provides a complimentary breakfast with all room stays. Reservations are recommended for dining on our outdoor terrace in peak season..a great spot for enjoying scenic views overlooking Bay view and Lake Michigan
