The best corn beef sandwiches you could ever eat. They are the biggest corn beef sandwiches I have ever seen! Literally the sandwich is sooo big! You have to make two passes to get one bit. The " United sandwich" is so so delicious!

If you have the soup, ask for the rye bread ends! The ends of the loaf that are too small to make a sandwich. AKA The Heel

Carryout sandwich #17 1/2 on rye. Lean(worth the extra $1) is simply heaven. I may not know much...boobs and food, specifically corned beef, and this place is the best. I read the reviews and saw a couple of bad reviews, and that is unfortunate. I urge them to try here again. they seemed to have a meal other than a... More

The pastrami sandwich had chewy, spicy, dry something on it, but NOT the pastrami I'd enjoyed for many years in the past. The cheese blintz I ordered to go was dripping with grease and filled with something mostly brown, not cheese. And this was not a cheap meal. The sandwich alone was $12. Yes, it was big, but who cares... More

I have been eating here for over 25 years. No one comes close to their corned beef and pastrami sandwiches. They are so big it is nearly impossible to eat a whole one yourself. Thank god they started offering a mini sandwich a few years ago. Don't be fooled by the mini name, you still must eat like a pig... More

As a long time deli worker, corned beef is near and dear to my heart. In my opinion(and on deli food I AM an expert), the Bread Basket is the best in SE Michigan...maybe the world! OK, maybe not the world! I don't want to hear about the overpriced Zingerman's in Ann Arbor(good, but costly), Star Deli in Southfield(not bad),... More

The cornbeef sandwiches in the past were much better than the ones my sister and I ordered in January. Not only were the sandwiches just mediocre, but the cost was $2 more. We are going to give them a break for awhile.
