The meat in Nicaragua is very good and this place knows how to prepare it. We also had pasta, that was also very nice, maybe for european standards a smaller portion than usual. But that is besides the point, we eat the best steak I have ever had, with a nice atmosphere at the very back terrase and good price/quality... More

The best gazpacho I've ever had. I'd go back just for that. The rest of the meal was fine, but after such a great start it's hard to be the dish that follows.

You have a choice of 4 environments in which to eat. Several are large, tranquil patios. Food very good. We had fish twice. Nice bakery part of the restaurant.

Great place for a romantic dinner in the back courtyard, with plenty of space between the tables. Food is good.

The previous reviews for El Mediterraneo are pretty on target. We were hungry and decided to eat there without the benefit of reading some of the reviews. We were seated in a lovely garden setting that was quite comfortable, with the exception of loud, and not very good music. It took 15 minutes to give our order to a waiter... More

The setting is very very nice, and the waiters do their best. Good wine for a good price, worth a visit for that. The food is not very nice. Pasta way overcooked, shrimp overcooked and not fresh, alcohol not cooked off, steak thin and overdone, vegetables cooked until beyond recognition. Pity. Someone should show the cook the basics of cooking,... More

The food is OK but the ambiance and service is good. If you want something done your way, be prepared to ask for it in clear Spanish and they will do it for you. I recommend this place, especially if you are hungry for a large meal.

Quirky , nice atmostphere:) My fish wrapped in banana leaves was pretty good.. The plate of pasta with shrimp, acceptable. The steak was unimpressive, and the pizza was disgusting. Service was good and beer excellent. In the end...I wouldn't go back unless I was going to just drink the beer.

While in Nicaragua, I used trip advisor to help chose where to have diner many times but for some reason I didn't read the comments on Mediterraneo before having diner there, that was a huge mistake! Service was ultra slow and our waiter clueless but our biggest concern was the food. Althought bothe the salad and pizza we ordered looked... More

Atmosphere is nice, but the food isn't. Maybe you can not expect this restaurant to put haute cuisine on the table, but at least they could use fresh products. Al vegetables came from cans, including the olives. Service was also not very friendly and slow.
