Delicious breakfast (2x), delicious dinner. It is fresh, nicely prepared, well cooked, excellent choices for both breakfast and dinner (and also certainly lunch) 1100 for a Sri Lankan breakfast, where you pay 100 meters further 3000 because you are 100 meters closer to the beach. Absolutely recommended if you like good food, want to support the local entrepreneur and do not want to pay relatively exorbitant prices for tourist food

Best meal in Sri Lanka so far after 9 days! Grilled crabs were perfectly prepared and marinated, most delicious kottu and spot on deviled cuttle fish - not Cheney but tender. The nicest hosts and charming surroundings. The only thing we regret is that we found Trinco Lanka the last evening we stayed in Trincomalee - otherwise we would definitely have returnere for yet another delicious meal!

We stayed next door for 4 days and eat here almost everyday. We liked all the food, breakfast lunch and dinner 😎 rice, fish, curry, pancakes, fruit juices…
And we had a beautiful time with the family, they helped us organize our days and left us the bike for a day 🌅

Two things to keep in mind in Sri. Lanka, do not trust the opinions or the photos that are published, both of the hotels and the restaurants, the reality is very different but worse. We were eating at this place on September 5, 2023, it is not cheap and the service leaves a lot to be desired, 1 kilo of good prawns costs 6 E in the market. a kilo of squid does not reach 3 E. that is Whatever I pay, in a purchase at the fish market, the local pays much less... this restaurant is not cheap and I would dare say that the rest that advertise seafood are not cheap either. .It's not good, It's not pretty.. And it's not cheap.. And I think I'm generous giving it 3 stars...

True Sri Lankan hospitality. We have been several times for both breakfast and dinner. All really good at great prices. We ate typical local cuisine and fresh fish dishes. The hosts made us feel at home. I highly recommend, without a shadow of a doubt the best restaurant in Uppuveli.

A more than lovely small family run restaurant!
Kisho, his wife and 3 lovely children give you such a warm welcome and will do everything to let you leave with a big smile on your face! The food is also amazing! I had the calamari curry which tasted delicious, so fresh and so beautifull served! Never had something simular before!

Such an amazing place! We have visited this restaurant multiple times and every visit was amazing! Kisho and his family are so sweet and hospitable and really made us feel at home. The food is really amazing and will be freshly made for you with so much love. Definately check this place out yourselves, you will not regret it!

Amazing place. Its run by a local family and they are so kind and loving. The food was even better and for an affordable price. I even went there 3 times in 1 week. The fresh fish is tasty and they make their own unique sauce to top this off

The best restaurant in Trincomalee/Uppaveli area! We ate here for breakfast, lunch and dinner and every meal was delicious. The owners are so welcoming and lovely. Our favourite meals were the Sri Lankan curry, the biryani and the breakfast.

By far the best restaurant in Sri Lanka we‘ve been to! Amazing breakfast with very delicious smoothie bowls and fresh fruits and pancakes, also a great place to have dinner, great atmosphere and very delicious. The family is very nice and welcoming! Definitely a must try if you’re in Trincomalee!

Food is always delicious here. Their speciality is sea food, prawn curries are my favourite, juice and grilled dishes taste very good too. Lovely atmosphere. We went many times and definitely will come back.

The food was fresh, delicious and made to order. The service was charming. So much flavour was packed into each dish. We all had prawns, roti and vegetables, kottu roti, and delicious lightly battered banana fritters for dessert, and amazingly fresh mixed fruit juice. The place has a lovely atmosphere about it.

Super cute place, accommodates about 30 people, run by a super nice family and very helpful. Traditional dishes, as well as fish and burgers... all very good ..

A lovely little spot in town with friendly survive and a lovely atmosphere.
