Tonight we had diner at Shiva restaurant. I must say the diner was very good and personal very friendly and good service. For sure I will visit them again.

Stopped there last week with a group from Europe, the food was amazing and the service even better. We were served by Dileep, and what a great guy. If you happen to travel to Bhaktapur, you have to stop there and get some chicken momo's.

Great choice in Bhaktapur. Shiva's Cafe Corner offers a little bit of everything to accomodate a variety of tastes. It is safe, clean, friendly, and the service is excellent!

Good cold beer, Sherpa brewed craft beer and pizza eaten next to a 17th century Hindu temple covered with Tantric wooden sculptures from the Kamasutra.

Popped in for tea and a bite while walking around town. Friendly service and complimentary WiFi. Tea pot sizes were very generous, highly recommend the chicken sadeko and tasty fluffy pancake. Cheers.

A nice evening with friends, drinks and traditional nepali food. Shivani desert is great but also the meat or pizza. Also the waiters are friendly and kind.

Cappuccino was ok.I met some interesting people who recommended the rooms.I did not order food as I dislike the 23% added to bills in popular tourist spots. My friends toast came with decent butter supply

Dear Guest Thank you for your feedback . Well 23 % is just made from Govenment rules according to the nature of the business . 10 % is service charge and 13% is Value added tax .

This restaurant was underwhelming. Massively overpriced basic food - and don’t forget everything has an additional 23% tax on top. Definitely not worth it. Eat somewhere more local.

Dear Guest Sorry for your inconvenience you felt in price . Well the 23 % is 10% service charge which is mostly taken in Resturante and 13% Value addded taxes are done by Government of Nepal according to nature and level of business .

This time we are in winter vacation at Katmandu we are travelling so many ancient places and now we are in this restaurant for lunch and feel homely atmosphere here good and so delicious food good service provided we enjoying so much.

We met friends here for dinner. I had the traditional Nepalese dahl baht meal which was very good. The local yogurt is very creamy and you have to try it. Service was good. It's right on the main square so easy to find inside Shiva...Guest HouseMore

I loved this place. Having digestion concerns, i was very careful about eating what Nepali's refer to as "hygienic" cooking. ALL water in Nepal is filtered, or should be. I saw American woman sitting here so went in to talk and she told me she...always stays in this hotel (SHIVA GUEST HOUSE) and eats in this restaurant. Well i can tell you they served me a hearty, generous wonderful breakfast and so i returned each day to eat here. next time i will sleep here as well. The people working here treated me so kindly, and they were so happy that i was happy with their efforts. YUM YUM.More

We stayed at the Shiva 2 Hotel and ate most of our meals at the Shiva Cafe. It was our third trip to Bhaktapur, and the Shiva has been our favorite restaurant. The "King's Curd" (yogurt) is amazing! Clean, friendly and delicious.

Me and my friends went here today as we were very hungry and this was among the very few cafe open as its festive season. We went in there, and there were international tourist having their brunch or break. It was around 2-3 pm. Just...as we stepped in, the cafe manager or whoever he was, ( i am sure he has not attended any business school since he lost his customer), he came in to tell us they are on a "Break". So i ask him, when will the break be over, and he tell us not until Dinner. That was a lie and we could tell. They just wanted non-local tourist. But Sir, let me tell you something, you are here to do business and you clearly have no idea on the market value of a local tourist. We saw quite a few other tourist go in and were being served. Worst place ever. As a local from this place, trust me you rather not go into this inhospitable and biased cafe.More
