I went to Whine on a business occasion, for dinner with 10 colleagues. The food and ambience were creative for Midland, MI. It's one of the only finer restaurants in the area.

Had a business event there and were treated great. The food was tasty, service was great, and drink options plentiful.

Whine is a nice place for an before/after dinner drink. Good selections of wine. I especially liked the different wine flights that allow you to try several wines. What I do not like is the seating. You either have very uncomfortable low to the ground couches or uncomfortable chairs at a table. I think it is time they updated their... More

We had a bottle of the house chardonnay and two veggie burgers. The wine was pretty good. The burgers were so-so. The meals were not hot when we got them (lukewarm at best) and the burgers were pretty messy/crumbly/falling apart. Service was good and the atmosphere top notch. Love the comfortable couch seating and candlelight, but reading the menu in... More

They have lots of very interesting appetizer style plates to try. Go with a group and order a bunch of them, if you are still hungry order some more. Obviously they have a large selection of wines for everybody's taste. Try the shrimp they are fantastic!

Do not be disapointe because it is in a strip mall, as you are transported to an intamite vinyarad when you enter. The place is inviting with casual setting groups around a fire place or the wine cooler. The tables are all inving too, with creative cork center items and candles. The food is tapas style and served on slate... More

I always ended up here after work with local friends, so the kitchen was mostly closed but I will tell you this, the cheese and meat board selections are always splendid, with a few bottles of bubbly, it's what makes this place special for me, and the service staff knew when we came in exactly what we wanted, it was... Start by ordering some of these cheese LaClare Goat Cheddar , Asher Blue.. and Wild Boar,Chorizo. Then order some Hurricane Shrimp , Spicy Tuna Tacos. The menu is good spread and they do cook to order sometimes. It might be a little loud in the evenings so if you are out on business dinner might be a little hard to... More

As Whine is now open for lunch (note it closes its doors at 2pm prompt) we decided to hold our small reunion. When we arrived at noon there were only three other tables occupied, so no big rush on. One lady asked if we could have a cheese platter for the group while we waited for everybody to arrive. We... More

Arrived here not knowing what to expect. Not much of a wine drinker, however ALL my worries were over when entering. The layout with the inviting over stuffed couch and chairs with the fireplace to the very nice long bar to sit at. Plenty of choices to drink also. Fine selection of wine, craft beers and mixed drinks. Paired with a... More
