7/13/17 Sign in window "closed until further notice." We have ate there in the past, and found the food to be good. We would write it a4 star restaurant, but hard to get for starters to a restaurant that is not open :-)

We were expecting to eat at this restaurant which is located across the street from our hotel. It is NOT open as of our visit May 25, 2017. Mears MI is about 5 miles away. Hart MI is about 10 mile away.
Very nice place in the middle of town with 6 total options near by and we ate at 3 of them. Only two were good and this was one of them. Pizza was the best. Fish fry not bad at all.
No need to say a ton about this place. If you've ever been to a mom & pop family style restaurant, then you know what to expect here.
For some reason, I had a hankering for a hot turkey sandwich. It arrived lukewarm, but might have been hotter in the past. 3 small slices of turkey? The potatoes screamed "from a box" God only knows where the gravy came from, it was yellow...More
We visited at a very quiet time on Labor Day weekend. Nonetheless we were very rudely instructed to wait outside until our table was ready. I believe this is a seasonal restaurant and the waitstaff was more than ready for the season to be over....More
We stopped in for dinner on a Sunday night and I had a delicious chicken salad with Michigan cherries & bleu cheese. Our waitress was very positive and the lady who checked us out was helpful when asked about where to purchase some needed items.
Seeing it's one of the only restaurants in town I can't be harsh. However, I don't like how at 11:30 they were still serving breakfast and we had to wait for the kitchen to switch to lunch. Most restaurants serve breakfast all day. They waitress...More
