We were in town for a family reunion and I knew we had to stop here and get our pasties to take home. Every time we or my family go to Marquette we stop and get their pasties. I've had a lot of pasties from other places but these are the best. We will be ordering from them again and... More

We stopped for lunch. We had their original pasty. We thought they were ok but not great. We didn't hate them but not much flavor and mushy texture.

Almost as good as homemade! These pasties are awesome! My buddy took me here when I came up for deer camp and I ordered the large pasty and it was huge but, it was so good I could've ate another one. It was a lot food for the price!

I was born in Michigan but only lived there for about 6 years but had many, many visits to Michigan over the years and became a HUGE Pasty lover. I have had pasties in Illinois and Wisconsin and they are no comparison to the wonderful Michigan pasties that Lawrys has to offer. Once you have a Pasty from Lawry's in... More

There is a commandment about coming to the UP of MI, you must eat pasties (pronounced past-eez not to be confused with paste-eez) These stuffed pastries of goodness are filling and delicious. I like a little jalepeno ketchup on mine, but they are plenty good without any condiments. I won't get into the debate about which restaurant serves the best.... More

To be fair we have only eaten at the Ishpaming location - the original. There are a few tables in both places but most of the business is take out. They have great pasties but our favorite is the cudighi sandwich. A luscious pattie of pork sausage with a blend of spices and herbs that make it cudighi. Lowery's serves... More

We have never really enjoyed Pasty's . . . until Lawry's. Breakfast one morning led to dinner the next. Flaky light crust, very good meats, we even discovered that we like Rudebaga (however it is spelled).

I've tried many pasties in my region -- including Jean Kay's, Cal's, Econo Foods', Lehto's, Muldoon's, Dobber's...but my favorite is Lawry's in Marquette. (I've found the Lawry's shop in Ishpeming to be quite inconsistent.) That said, I've learned at least two things after eating pasties for the past 36 years: (1) nothing ever beat my mother in law's homemade pasties,... More

I have a friend who is from the western end of the Upper Peninsula. He loves pasties and frequently visits pastie shops when he travels home. He brought me a Lawry's pastie last year and I thought it was really good. However, it was cold by the time I ate it and I had to reheat it in the microwave.... More

We loved this little shop! Best pasties we've ever eaten. We even got some to take home. This is not a formal sit down, this is a pop-in-and -grab-your-hot-pasty-that's-ready-to-go type shop. Great pasty fix!
