Not Just Curries is perfect for party catering. We booked them for our Diwali party - the team designed a menu specific to our requirements, were very responsive and coordinated with us throughout. They provided us with not just the most delicious food that all our guests loved but also chafing dishes and all cutlery to set up our dinner table beautifully and also keep the food hot throughout the party. Economical and good quality Indian food, highly recommend NJC - their chicken tikkas, Delhi style butter chicken and Gulab Jamuns are simply divine!

We love checking out the selection of restaurants in Harris Park and 'not just curries' didn't disappoint. Very attentive staff, pleasant setting. We ordered both starters and main, food came quickly was hot and beautifully presented - starters were delicious. The mains were equally as good with tasty sauces, good rice and naan only one slight criticism - some of the lamb in the curry was a little tough whilst other bits melted in the mouth. Will be back - so much on the menu that we want to try out!

My wife and I dined there on Saturday Night and thoroughly enjoyed the experience and tastes. We will be back and will try other dishes. We asked the waiter to recommend a Lamb and a Goat dish and he was spot on. Staff are attentive and service was quick. The entree was amazing. Cost was excellent. Well worth trying this restaurant. Highly recommend.

I have been to Just Not Curries at HarrisPark. So impressive customer service and food was authentic and delicious. I haven’t seen quality authentic food with a great, quick customer service together in Indian Restaurants in Sydney. We have ordered food and within 15 mins it was on our table without any compromising on taste, quality and authenticity.

My boss (wifey) and my 3 children in their late teens, always love a visit to NJC for dinner. We call and book in and we get a corner table for 5/6. Digvijay, Sandeep and Ashwin whoever is at the door always have a warm smile with a namaste and the welcome is from the heart! The food (we are vegetarian, so I speak only for the vegetarian cuisine) is ever fresh made, exquisite flavorsome gravy which can be tasted in every bite and morsel. Whoever is serving the table is ever watchful and present the items perfectly on cue, just in time. We have never waited too long for what we ordered, except maybe on extremely busy evenings when every table is taken and the boys are tested for their vigilance. I have been to many other Indian eateries on the same Wigram street and I can vouch for the authentic gravy preparation, ingredients, flavor of every menu item on the NJC menu card. I must add, they serve you with warmth, you cannot miss it! If you are after an excellent meal, NJC surpasses it!

This was our first time at NJC Harris Park and it did not disappoint. It was a Saturday night and the area was buzzing. Fantastic atmosphere in the air which made the evening dinner all the more special. Staff here are fantastic and friendly. The restaurant was busy but you never had to wait to get one of the teams attention. The food was SO tasty. For starters we had Samosa Chat and Chingari Tikka both of which were delicious. So full of flavour and if you like your food spicy, the Chingari Tikka had a slight kick to it with that beautiful tandoori taste from the Tandoor oven. For mains we had 2 curries. Lamb Rogan Josh and Chicken Tikka Lababdar. The Lamb was super tender with a very flavoursome sauce and the Chicken was so tasty. I’ve never had this dish before so I gave it a shot and I’m glad I did. Wonderfull tomato flavour with a nice chilli kick. The portions are generous and we had to take home the leftovers as we couldn’t eat everything in the one sitting! That’s dinner tonight sorted. We live an hour drive away but it was so worth the drive and we definitely will be back. Couldn’t recommend the restaurant enough. If you love Indian food you’ll love Not Just Curries. Make an evening of it if you don’t know the area and soak up the atmosphere of Little India. Visit some of the Indian supermarkets and other outlets.

We travel from Canberra to Sydney for sports each year and we almost always stay in Parramatta and never miss a chance to eat here at least once a trip. The food is always very good and they provide all those dishes you love to eat. This is not one of those places you go if you want to have some macho competition to see who can eat the hottest meal, all the food has chilli but is not spiced to blow you away, just to taste awesome. If you want really hot they have some choices (clearly marked) for you too.

We had lunch for 25 people with varying requirements. We ordered the standard banquet, there was delicious food in ample quantity. The waiters were attentive, and Dig Vijay took a personal interest in catering. Also, this restaurant is one of the rare places where emails are answered quickly and text messages are replied straight away. Overall, will highly recommend.

We have eaten at this place several times for dinner and generally have liked what we ordered. This time we went for a lunch and found the quality was highly compromised. Delhi Style Butter Chicken is one of their specialty that we have loved for years. But for lunch it was very watery missing the flavour and Palak Paneer was missing the proper salt.

We recently visited here again post Covid with another family, and I am glad to see that Not Just Curries is still a great option for an authentic Indian meal. Meals are tasty and generous, and I, like other patrons, appreciate the ability to request mild, medium or spicy options of a curry. We particularly love the Goan and Malabar curries, as well as the more common butter chicken, korma and others. We recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning to not only their delicious food but friendly and prompt service.

We loved our meal at Not Just Curries. From the start, the staff were friendly & courteous and the restaurant was buzzing with happy diners. The menu read well with lots of options. Entrees we’re delicious & main courses & sides all great too. We loved the food - so well spiced with balanced flavours and so many choices. We were asked if we’d like our food hot, medium or mild which was good. We chose medium & it was just spicy enough. Perfect!!

Other senior restaurant reviewers recommend we try this place. So we went a bit out of our way to visit them in "Little India". It is as good at they say it is! Service was attentive, polite, and fast. I don't know how they possibly serve food made to order so quickly. They must be able to guess what you are going to order the moment you walk through the door. The food was perfect, with every dish perfectly prepared. The servings, especially of the mains are quite large so be careful you don't order too much. The restaurant has a full bar which also has a respectable collection of cold beers and ales. The "atmosphere" is modest, with Indian pop music playing in the background and the room dimly lit. So dimly lit that I could not read the "artsy" menu. Fortunately my wife was carrying a portable light. Regular print in a larger font for the menus would not hurt either. Prices are at the upper end of moderate, but the most excellent quality of the food and service still make it a good value. We took the left overs home in a takeaway container. Our pet Mountain Brushtail Possums adored them. They are EXTREMELY sensitive to freshness, far more than even expert people. So another "endorsement" there!

After having read some good reviews about Not Just Curries, we visited some time back only for their thali. We ordered veg thali, the food was delicious and unlimited. Bhindi ki subzi was the highlight in the thali for us. We again visited last month with our family, thali was not available due to covid restrictions, but we could order from their al-carte menu. We ordered veg biryani, lachha paratha, kheer, panner gravy and mango lassi. The food was very delicious and the masalas weren't over powering. Portion size was very good and there were quite some veg options also. Totally satisfying visit.

We had the most amazing meal to celebrate my birthday. DJ was fantastic, making sure we understood the menu and really sympathetic to our various dietary requirements, suggesting some great food. Sat outside and enjoyed watching the constant parade of people passing by. Definitely recommend.
