We have been going to NJC for years, following the chef from A Thousand Spices in Homebush. Authentic Indian at its finest. Everything on the menu is worth trying, and it does pay to take heed of the recommendations of the waiting staff. Servings are...generous and often we will deliberately over order just so we can have takeaways at the end, as we live in the Blue Mountains and it is an hour's drive. On that score, if you drive to the restaurant be aware that the street is 2 hrs parking max up to 6pm, but the real problem is finding a spot. So allow plenty of time to find a park, as it can be in the next block or further. Its a 2 min walk from Harris Park railway station. I also recommend you reserve a table.More

Visiting from Melbourne area where we have many Indian restaurants ..but this was simply excellent by any standards. Great taste, ingredients and servings..very friendly staff.. strongly recommend ..we took the ferry there to visit Little India. A great day trip.

This establishment smacks of quality. My wife is Indian, so she knows what she's getting, and Not Just Curries is the real deal. Authentic recipes prepared according to authentic methods. Every time we dine here, we just go "aaahhhh" at the end of the meal....The staff are terrific - very attentive and kept our unlimited thali meals topped up without having to call them over.More

The food was good but one of the restaurant managers refused to let us sit on a table even though it was vacant. Until we threatend to leave and then another manager told us to go ahead and sit in the vacant seat and overruled...the other manager. Not a good welcome to the restaurant. It appears that they favour their friends and reserve seats even though there is no booking.More

Not Just Curries serves up an impressive line-up of Indian cuisine which pleasantly surprised us. We ordered the Dahi Puri, lamb curry and chicken biryani as well as both mango and rose lassi. The waiting time was short albeit a huge Saturday dinner crowd. Serving...staff were all polite, patient and on their toes. Thank you for the impeccable service, we will be back!More

My family went for dinner on Saturday night with two young children, 7 and 8 and their grandmother. My mum and I are from England and love Indian food and my husband is half Indian. We all thought this was the best curry we have...had since living in Sydney. The curries all had incredible flavour and my personal favourite was the Aloo Gobi. The service was excellent, very attentive, despite being busy on a saturday night. Great value also. We will absoluetly be coming back. It's located in a buzzing little strip of restaurants, its a totally different vibe to anywhere else in Sydney, so much fun for all the family.More

Every year we come to Sydney to work at the caravan show with a large group of people and every year we come back here! It’s rated number one for many good reasons - it’s soooo good! Delicious. India in Harris Park. Indian hospitality with amazing morsels of chicken lababda , mouthwatering samosa chat, spicy prawn fry hot naan breads. Be back definitely.

We had the most amazing meal to celebrate my birthday. DJ was fantastic, making sure we understood the menu and really sympathetic to our various dietary requirements, suggesting some great food. Sat outside and enjoyed watching the constant parade of people passing by. Definitely recommend.

Food was okay but service was very slow. The service manager was so rude and proudy he took challenge when we brought extremely hot curry when we ask for little hot ... . No Manners to deal with customers ......extremely bad experience ...
