If an establishment has “Beer” as part of its name, it is reasonable to expect a wide variety of beers to be available, and the Kalamazoo Beer Exchange does not disappoint in any way. The list of draft and bottled beers is seemingly endless –...More

We came here for beer and dessert, so I can't speak to the food. Good variety of beers - we had fun trying a bunch. It was Beer Trivia night which was fun to listen to (every Monday night, I believe). The desserts were great...More

This is a very cool take on beer prices. Plus, it's right in the middle of some of the best craft breweries in the country!

We had a business meeting here. The idea is that the price of various beers changes according to demand. They do have LOTS of beers. Food was good. Service was good. Busy place.

A place where the beer prices go up and down like the prices of stocks, and even occasionally crash to ridiculously low prices. Fun concept, but on a crowded Friday night with no wait staff in sight, music that was not live but too loud...More

This was my second time here and ordered vegetable lasagna again. So good I had to get on here and review it. The Best!

This place is fun,a little crowed, fun concept, we didn't get to the "market crash"-kind of a bummer after waiting 2 hours for it to happen.

Certainly a great concept. I’m not really a beer drinker but I can see how someone who loves beer could get excited about this place. Beer prices move like the stock market. If the bar has a market crash, you can get get deals on...More

Tried this place out the last time we were in the area for business. Lots of selection for beer, lots of food choices and helpful staff. The beer "exchange" idea was interesting, didn't really impact what we ordered though.

The kitchen is open until 9 or 10 p.m. so I'm sure under 18 is allowed until then or a little after. Hope this helps.

I think older kids (tween/teen) would be fine here for lunch or early dinner. More a bar than a restaurant, but the food's quite good & it's a clean/nice environment. Imo, there are much better family dinner options... More

Description
The Kalamazoo Beer Exchange is a two-story multi-tap bar and grill located in the beautifully restored Globe Building in downtown Kalamazoo. Offering 28 rotating draught beers from around the world, The Exchange opens at 6 p.m., where draught beers are priced on real-time sales, like the stock market. Occasional "market crashes" drop beer prices to their all-time low. The food menu features pub fare with a twist, where classic dishes will be made new again.
