We found it very difficult to talk but I enjoyed my food. Obviously for a younger crowd than we were, but I can't fault my meal.

I had the pork chop special, which was very good (meat was not overcooked). After 6:00 pm they have a 'stock exchange' theme for the beer prices, with the occasional price crash. Very fun.

There is definitely a drinking crowd presence here but not a rowdy crowd. When we have attended it is a very lively, fun, loud atmosphere. The food is great to have with a few drinks. There is small dining area which is nice because it...More

This place is usually pretty busy, so we haven't been here before. However, we happened by just after they opened, and wanted to try it. We're glad we did. We each ordered a burger. They were a little on the pricey side, but were worth...More

We were not sure what to expect from the Kalamazoo Beer Exchange but it certainly was fun. They have quite a few beers on tap - and the point of the exchange is similar to the stock exchange. Pricing of the beer fluctuates every 20...More

It was a cold rainy night and we went in here for some drinks and a meal. You have to wait to be seated - yes, it is a busy, buzzing place, but do not worry, you can have your drinks while you are waiting....More

I have been to this restaurant twice and have loved my meal both times. My favorite was my husbands pork chop....best pork chop ever!! Very unique atmosphere with a stock exchange style beer menu....fun and delicious!!

The bar is awesome and the ticker gets you to try different beers just because they are cheap. Get the onion rings, they are amazing!!!

A great concept and always buzzing - which is what a good restaurant should be like. Good selection of beers, good food and a chance to splurge when the market crashes.

Beer prices are adjusted according to demand, just like the stock market. Great selection of beers on tap as well as lots of Michigan beers in cans and bottles. A must stop.

The kitchen is open until 9 or 10 p.m. so I'm sure under 18 is allowed until then or a little after. Hope this helps.

I think older kids (tween/teen) would be fine here for lunch or early dinner. More a bar than a restaurant, but the food's quite good & it's a clean/nice environment. Imo, there are much better family dinner options... More

Description
The Kalamazoo Beer Exchange is a two-story multi-tap bar and grill located in the beautifully restored Globe Building in downtown Kalamazoo. Offering 28 rotating draught beers from around the world, The Exchange opens at 6 p.m., where draught beers are priced on real-time sales, like the stock market. Occasional "market crashes" drop beer prices to their all-time low. The food menu features pub fare with a twist, where classic dishes will be made new again.
