I was in Michigan for three weeks, and luckily discovered this place my first Tuesday there. I went back every week for their tacos!! The steak was my favourite :) The staff was SO friendly as well!! You have to have $5 minimum on a card, and the first time I didn't meet that (PTL for Taco Tuesdays, y'all). They... More

Very authentic Mexican food- not "tex-mex" style food. Very good- tastes like homemade food from a family kitchen! Not a very large restaurant, but we have never had a problem finding seating or anything- and the staff/ owners are amazing! We love this place so much that my sister actually did her Rehearsal Dinner here for her wedding! They were... More

Very good food and great service. I met my family there at my daughter in law's recommendation. Nice and clean also. We would definitely go back again.

This restaurant is genuine Mexican Restaurant with dishes that others don't offer, such as Gordita. La Pinata is a so-called Mexican restaurant, but it offers mostly mainstream Mexican-American dishes. La Pinata is not terrible, just not good Mexican food. Mi Pueblo is different -- it's not fancy but offers genuine tasty Mexican cuisine.

Me and my husband took our youngest son (who is headed for college) for the lunch buffet after church today--we will DEFINITELY be back!! I must admit, I had low expectations given it was a 'taco bar', but I was really impressed. So many choices of meat and toppings, all fresh and really, REALLY good!! Our waitress was really sweet... We had previously read the reviews, they made the restaurant sound quite good. Perhaps we hit it on a bad night. The salsa was runny, the chips cold. That was for starters. No alcohol is served so no sangria. The fajitas were like all other restaurant's fajitas...nothing special there. The chimichunga had the ground beef mixed in with the dough,... More

We were in town for only a few days but we eat at Mi Pueblo twice. The staff is very friendly and the service is great. The first night we were there for Taco Tuesday and they were outstanding. Very fresh with lots of flavour. The second night was a regular night with burritos, tacos and tamales. All were awesome.... More

The food is authentic, inexpensive, consistently good and usually quickly served. The guacamole is the best ever! Great place to practice your Spanish. Try the frozen paddle pops!

Come here for real (good) Mexican food at fair prices that fill your plate in an attractive manner. While waiting for your meal, enjoy the corn chips and salsa, view the widescreen television (with the volume turned low so as not to disturb anyone), and take in the colorful, unique atmosphere that includes many large paintings of Mexican themes. Besides... More
