The special holiday menu was full of Irish choices. The bar and restaurant were packed, of course, but service was still fairly quick. We sat in the dining area and the music was far too loud. We were shouting. After asking it to be turned down, the volume went right back up again after 2 jukebox songs. Ugh. My Killian’s... More

Hubby ordered wings and they were very good! Service was attentive. The pub is separate from the more upscale restaurant, which is nice to be able to select the atmosphere you and your group desire.

I went there to try the shepherd's pie and have a couple pints of Guinness. The shepherd's pie was perfect and the Guinness I had requested to make a Black and Tan which was perfect as well.

There were five of us eating and every one of us loved our meals. The ribs were fantastic and there was a nice atmosphere in the bar area where we watched some sports.

Took over 35 minutes to get our food and my small salad, a joke, came out at the same time. Food was good but scarce. Not busy so why forever slow service. We are here often for business but won't return.

Everything has gotten so expensive? Wine is $8 glass, with 16oz draft $5. Shepherds Pie was average plus at $10.50 plate, but lacked vegetables. 3 drinks, 3 pies, plus gracious gratuity = $55.00. Very good selection of beers, but not sure that is a good enough reason to generate a crowd, as the place was pretty vacant. Outdoor patio is... More

Arrived early evening with a group of 12. They only gave us 1 server, she had her hands full. The outside dinning area was great. Would eat here again for sure

Very underrated restaurant in Kalamazoo especially on the west side. The staff is very friendly and patient. I ordered ribs and they were great, but really we just shared all our food which was shepherds pie, nachos, potatoes skins, beef stew and perch. It was all great! We went during the day and ate inside. It looks like it would... More

Staying in a nearby hotel, I came here looking forward to some good Irish food. I ordered the jumbo pretzel for an appetizer...it says it comes with garlic butter salt and parmesan cheese. What I got was exactly what in would get at a movie theater. It was a regular soft pretzel with a small thing of cold gross cheese.... More

It's been about 10 years since I visited Kalamazoo and gone to Gallaghers. I remembered the homemade potato chips as being excellent but those are no longer on the menu. However the Chicken Boursin was very good and my friend said her meatloaf was good too. The main dining room is not open during the week so we ate in... More
