We visited during the Holland tulip festival. Was quite disappointed to see the lack of tulips throughout the town of Holland - expected lots more!!!! The town appeared very nice, but all we saw of it was the tulip Parade which was long and repetitive....More
Holland has plenty of Dutch history and sits right on Lake Macatawa. Hope College shares a big part of the downtown and is a very pretty campus. Nice place to spend a weekend.

Great town we went during the tulip festival it was beautiful. We took the tour of the city , loved it and it was very interesting.
Lovely place to walk a bit, a lot of shops to look at from food to cloth and souvenirs. I really like the place with some tables out to enjoy the nice weather; it did feel European.
Was not sure upon arrival how Holland would stack up compared to South Haven and Saugatuck but it definitely held its' own. Wish it wasn't as spread out, hated being in the car.
A great little town for shopping and people watching. We loved the downtown. Nice shops but go away from downtown for food.
WOW A must see so much fun. We have gone there twice now and loved it both times. Once for the Tulip festival and it was so amazing. we will for sure go again.
