The family style chicken dinner is the best. Lots of good food and a very friendly atmosphere. We love this place!

We only wanted a small meal so we ate in the smaller bar restaurant, the young lady serving was very good, pleasant, but the food was rough, not very hot,and very poorly cooked, had to leave a lot because we could not eat it.

We went with a group of 10 - adults and children. Everyone enjoyed the chicken so much. It's not greasy at all like fried chicken can be. I loved the mashed potato too. However all the other dishes that came with the chicken were overwhelming and not really that good. I think next time I will just order chicken, mash... More

We have been here fairly often over a number of years. They handle an enormous number of patrons with a pretty good amount of finesse. We found our track to being seated to be a little quirky this time. Balancing reservations (we had one) with walk-ins is tricky business. The wait once at our table was a little long. Things... This is a good place to get a brat worst and a beer. German style atmosphere and lots of little shops to buy things in . we went to Franknmuth during the October Fest and the music was good with lots of dancing.we had lunch here and it was good and reasonablypriced.

I had a chicken dinner and my husband had a steak. The chicken was terrific and the steak was okay. The sides were great and although it was family style I cannot imagine them bringing me seconds..there was more than enough to satisfy. We had to laugh at all the food on our table but it was delicious. The only... More

Stopped here for lunch, had the famous frankenmuth chicken plate, it was very good. The bread they give you beforehand is excellent also. Just had to buy some in their bakery. Great place, the men are dressed in liederhosen, hope I spelled that right, atmosphere was great, there was an older lady playing the accordion. Overall good quality food for... More

Surprisingly, I did not follow my family's lead around the table and order the traditional chicken at this large Frankenmuth institution. My Reuben sandwich on dark rye was quite good, but I would be hard pressed to identify standard ingredients such as Russian dressing. The smooth and tasty potato puffs had a cheese flavor, and reminded me of potato "cakes"... More

While the Bavarian Inn has other items on the menu, only one matters - the family style, all you can eat chicken dinner. Starts with chicken noodle soup and assorted fresh breads. Next four different salads. Fried chicken with dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables, buttered noodles. and finish with ice cream.

My husband and I look forward at eating here on all of our visits. They have the best chicken ever. We always get the family style dinner. Large selection of food.
