Try the Old World Bread, it is fantastic, only 4 ingredients, makes great toast. I also like their tarts, lemon bars, and flat breads. Everything they make is fresh, baked daily. They are open early but not late. You always get cheerful, polite and patient service here, they are very nice people.

I really enjoy watching this place where they bake everything fresh and you can order different things for your reunions, parties or just for a nice treat.

Not only do the owners know you by name, but the sweets, breads and dog buscuits are coveted by locals. The bells on the door are constantly ringing as people walk in and out to grab todays fresh bread ready hot out of the oven at 10:30 am everyday but Sunday. The whole family loves the Old World bread. I... More

Quaint and homely. They always have a cheerful word for you. Freshly baked bread. Heavenly aromas drifting everywhere. You want to buy it all. Be careful though. They only accept cash or cheques. No credit.

I love their date bars and buy a 1/2 dozen and freeze them till I am able to get over and get 6 more. The breads, cookies, protein bars, have not had anything that we did not like.

During my weekly visit to pick up a warm sliced loaf of Old World bread (discounted Wednesday & Friday to $2.75) I smiled at the pastry case filled with freshly baked scones, coffee cakes, lemon bars, cupcakes & a gorgeous colorful Kings cake, in anticipation of the New Orleans Mardi Gras celebration! Owners Jeff and Becky plus staff offer warm... More

Sunflour is my go to place for decorated cakes. They also make amazing Old World Bread (comes out of the oven in the morning, ready for sale about 11a) German Pretzels are available on Saturday and their brownies, cookies, pastries and muffins are generously sized, fresh and flavorful.

This was not our first purchase since they our a regular in conjunction with the Farmington Farmers Market. However, after hearing the radio story about their fruitcake using real fruit instead of candied fruit, I knew I had to have some. Now, being a fruitcake lover, this did not reach the level of good ole mom's recipe, but, it is... More

My favorite are the Saturday morning pretzels, get there around 10:30 am for warm ones, you won't be disappointed. They only bake them on Saturdays. We always get old world bread too, which makes the best grilled cheese sandwiches ever. They have many other tasty breads and treats, and the quality of food and service is excellent. We go once... It is always a treat to stop at Sunflour Bakehaus in Farmington, Michigan. They have delicious cookies, coffee cakes, brownies, and pastries. They also have a great selection of freshly baked breads, and their homemade pretzels are the best. They also make delicious sugar cookies and will decorate them to match a variety of party themes.
