Food and services are not excellent but good... the atmosphere and environment are amazing. In there you can feel the character of Detroit. People are so friendly and thanks to them you can learn a lot about the Motor City

A tiny place that was packed at 7pm on Saturday night! Our table had wings, meatloaf, and fish and chips. Everything was reported as delicious. They are famous for their wings. Also, this place has the best tasting water (it's Detroit water!).

Thought the food and atmosphere was great for a dive bar in Detroit. Had Sunday lunch which was moderately priced and tasted good. Solid 4 stars. Great chicken wings

My husband and I heard awesome things about this place and were really excited to give it a try. It's a quaint little place just across the street from St. Andrew's Hall. There's a parking lot right next door which is convenient. We were obviously told that this place has the best wings! So that's what we ordered. So I... More

Even though I'm generally not a fan of wings (I prefer boneless), my friend who was with me said she absolutely loved them and she wasn't big into wings either so I had no excuse. Their wings are pretty well-known around Detroit so obviously I got them. Definitely worth it - very good and spicy. The atmosphere is definitely no... More

Food was great, prices were good. Staff were friendly. It was very busy so the wait for the food took a little while. We were in town for a concert at St. Andrews Hall which was across the street and about 2 doors down from Sweetwater Tavern.

If you are visiting Detroit try this restaurant! It is defiantly a relaxed pub type place, with friendly servers and the most outstanding food. I had a corned beef and swiss sandwich that hade a half pound of corned beef thinly sliced on an onion roll. it was hands down the best corned beef sandwich I ever had. Every meal... More

There nothing fancy about this place but let me tell you the food is awesome and what you'd want it to be. Do not pass up the wings...I don't care what diet you're on, they're amazing. Onion rings and ribs are also musts. We were there with a group of 6 and everything ordered was beyond expectations. The service was... More

We stopped here to eat as it was on our way and looked inviting from the outside. It's tiny inside with one wall of tables across from the bar and then opening into a smaller dining area just past it. The wings were great and the drinks were strong but if you don't get here early you aren't getting a... More

I was excited to eat at the Sweetwater as it had beef a long time since I've been there. Got the ribs and wings. Wings were pretty good but if you don't like their house sauce you are out of luck because they only come in one flavour. I was extremely disappointed in the ribs. They looked amazing but were...
