My husband and I took our son and great nephew out to dinner before attending a Red Wings game at the Joe on February 3rd. All of us had great meals and the service was a plus. We enjoy coming here for dinner but unable to do so frequently.

I don't usually comment on poor service experiences and food quality as I work in the service industry, however this experience was especially shocking. We showed up on a Saturday night to wait in line for 20 minutes to get inside and observe there were a dozen open and set tables. Our server was slow to check on us and... More

We were in the downtown area and decided to have lunch in Greek Town. My wife's favorite meal is sea food, so naturally, we headed to Fishbones. The atmosphere is mostly early industrial with raw brick with wooden beams. There were plenty of tables available but we were lead to an area next to the kitchen entrance. It's noisy with... More

Had dinner with a group of 26 at Christmas time. Unbelievable service from 2.5 servers. Get this....They plated 26 at once! No mistakes, no overcooked anything, no forgotten side, absolutely perfect. Employed at all levels including the manager seemed highly engaged in their profession. Remarkable. Great job, keep it up.

Stopped here for a bite to eat - had a hankering for some Cajun/Creole. The place was busy but we didn't have a reservation. So we could wait (which didn't make sense as they don't take names - must be the honor system). So we sat at the long bar. The bar serves the full menu so it was fine.... More

Been here a handful of times, this time in particular was anything but great. Our appetizers came out before our wine, our beef tips came out and we're over cooked, we sent them back and they came out over cooked again. Manager comped us for them. Staff was nice but still 3/5 for service. Probably won't return sadly.

Located close to the Cobo Centre Fishbones is an institution for people visiting the Detroit Auto Show and they coped with a large business group I was hosting with ease! The food is good value and plentiful and service is efficient and friendly. If the evening crowd is a bit thin early in the week it can feel a bit... More
