Almost a year later and we come back to Hamido's for dinner (that tells you that there are lots of places in Dearborn to get good middle eastern food)! Husband immediately knows that he wants the lamb chops again - and I opt for the Shish Combo with Kabob, Tawook, Kafta, & Fattoush. Again, it's amazing! Our waitress was attentive... More

I love the chicken shwarma. One of my favorite places to stop by when in the area. If you are looking for a small quaint place to grab tasty middle eastern food. This is your place.

Good only for shawrema and roasted chicken. Beef kabab is chewy and taste bad. Place is dirty and washroom is disgusting, seats and tables are oily and too small that you leave the place and your cloths smell everything they cook. Sandwiches is better than dine in. Take out is okay. Prices are normal. Service is not bad.I will never... More

I cant' say whether this food is authentic or not, as I am a novice when it comes to Middle Eastern food, but I'm well versed in eating tasty food and I enjoyed my lunch there. My travel buddy and I ordered chicken and beef shawarmas and then split them to get a sample of both. They were both good,... More

This is a tight small place that is super busy and full of locals. The chicken is really special but all food is authentic and delicious.

While visiting Dearborn we wanted to have some Arabic quick food and we stopped at Hamido Nice menu and nice service although the place is a bit tight and not well organized inside but we enjoyed the sandwiches we ordered The sandwiches were very tasty and good size enough to fill up but I believe the price was a little... I never experienced real Arabic food. But this one tastes really good. The cinnamon and almond rice is very special and delicious. I also like the hummus and salad that they serve as side dishes. The tray for 2 is awesome. It has 5 different kabobs and shawarma. The portion is really large compared to the cost. The waitress girls... More

Every time I visit Dearborn, MI, I discover a new middle eastern taste that you gonna try again and again. We purchased shawarma chicken and beef with hummus. Hummus is amazingly good, and chicken shawarma is great but I didn't like the beef shawarma. Generally, don't miss it.

I have tried other restaurants and markets for their chicken, but I can honestly say nothing is as close as Hamidos whole chicken. Great tasting crispy on the outside chicken.
