Greenfield village is a must see, and this place is a must dine experience. Beautiful 1850's tavern with authentic furnishings -and fare. The food is amazing! Good coffee, -and the bread pudding was perfect. A five star dining experience.

My wife and I had the Henry Ford and Greenfield Village on our bucket list for quite a while. Since visiting the Village takes a full day we decided to make our main meal the Eagle Tavern. It was marvelous. The raspberry jam served with...More

Servers in period costumes from the 1850s. Family style distribution of each dinner course lead to pleasant sharing of food and discussions. Finished with cider cake. Mmmm. Fiddler for entertainment.

Loved our lunch here. Waiters dressed in period clothing and spoke with period phrases. I ordered a hard cider and apple jack drink. It came with a pasta "straw". They didn't have straws back then. It was an extremely STRONG drink. Be prepared!

One on the restaurants from Henry Ford’s Greenfield Village recreates a tavern from the period. Interesting. Plenty of seating. My noodle dish was interesting but others in my party who ordered soup found it rather bland.

We had lunch at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was very good. Home cooked food in large quantities in authentic surroundings. Brilliant!

A must do to understand what it was like to see and feel how people interacted, exchanged ideas and worked through their day to day lives in the time period of early America.

Eagle Tavern is an experience beyond just dining. Staff are all in period appropriate costumes. Place settings and serve ware are also in keeping with the 1850's as are the menu choices that change with the seasons using foods that would have been served when...More

Had walked and walked all day thru GV and approached the Eagle Tavern. We were tired and a bit hungry but there was time to eat before they closed. There was a costumed lady at the entrance attempting to lure customers like us into the...More

You must pay admission to Greenfield Village to dine at the Eagle Tavern. It is well worth the admission price to eat and tour the village.
