Have had this place recommended by a few people, and now we know why. Went on a Sunday afternoon and were sat immediately upon arriving. We were quickly greeted by a friendly efficient server. We went with the chicken shawarma plate and the moujadara (lentil) plate, with lentil soup and spinach salad. Our food came very quickly and it was... More

Went with many friends. Everybody tried a little sample of every dish. Fabulous meals! I had mujadra - bulgar wheat and carmelized onions. So savory for a vegetarian dish!!

While in Dearborn this is a great choice for authentic middle eastern food. The hummus was very creamy and the pitas were fresh and hot from the oven. The fattoush salad was the best I've ever had. The stuffed grape leaves, not so much. Would have given a 5 but the service was slow and the extra charges for the... More

I've been eating here for years. The chicken shawarma sandwiches aren't as good as they used to be and I no longer get them form here. But the fattoush salad and hommous is the best. I prefer to get the large with the dressing on the side. It's always much fresher. I've ordered a small with the dressing on and... More

Love the soup, the bread, the appetizers, and every main dish that I have tried. I have not yet been disappointed in a meal.

Family size platters are ood to share. We liked the fruit Smoothies, specially the mango ones. Lamb Kafta was good.

Our waiter helped us order a vegetarian sampler plate that was great. Also loved the mixed fruit smoothie. The only less than exciting dish was the fattoush salad as it was a bit tasteless. I'll be back.

The family platters are a great deal. All the food is well-prepared and plentiful. Fruit/yogurt drinks are wonderful. Service is friendly and prompt.

Literally everything on the menus is delicious. Definitely worth every visit. We have been coming here to eat many times even though it's an hour drive for us. The lamb dishes are extraordinary.

We wanted to try as much Middle Eastern food as possible in one visit. And we wanted original, homemade recipes. Al Ameer did not disappoint!! We shared an appetizer platter with 10 different servings. The favorites were falafel, tabouleh, and salads. Really nice people. Just watch out in the narrow parking lot.
