Monday evening, I took my wife out for dinner. I was more than a bit disappointed in the food that was served to our table. The fish dinner I ordered came with 6 pieces of perch that were about the size of a French fry....There could not have been enough meat on these things to fill 2 shot glasses. My onion rings tasted good but again, lack of quantity. I never had a serving that was 25% of an onion before. I ordered the cream of mushroom soup, that was a real eye opener as the soup wasn’t soup at all, it was cream of mushroom paste that was so thick with flour, it couldn’t even be considered a stew! My wife ordered a Michigan salad. She got full leaves, nothing cut up, 2 small cracker sized pieces of pita bread, it was BAD. I don’t know what is taking place in the kitchen but even the servers need to pay attention and check what they are delivering to the tables. We have been coming to your place for several years. Something has changed, and it is not good!
I normally would not take the time to write a review. However, I felt that you should receive some feedback so you can make the necessary changes to improve your food service. Let’s be honest, no customer is going to return to your facility when they experience the meals that I did on Monday evening. I am willing to give your Tavern one more opportunity (the wife is not). This is the third time this has happened to us in your restaurant. Maybe it was just another bad night for the tavern? However, when my meal is 40 dollars, I tend to expect a little more from the facility. Please keep this in mind. I gain nothing through providing you with a review of your tavern. I am only doing this so you do not lose your investment. The more people walk out of your facility with a bad dining or customer service experience the sooner your profits will deteriorate and force your business to close its doors. As a business owner, I always take customer feedback seriously.More
