When we asked a local where to go for good burgers they directed us here. Good basic bar funk atmosphere with some sit down tables. Fabulous burgers. Great service.

Had the nachos for dinner in July they were wonderful the service was great and the place is old but well kept. They are also open late for boaters vacationers and locals looking for late night eats

Not sure why we came back here for supper this year, because we said last year we wouldn't be back...because it is so LOUD. That is, several TVs, folks at the bar shouting so they can hear each other, while you cannot hear yourself think. If you care to talk you are shouting as well. Menu choices are limited. My... More

We have been to the Black Sheep now every time we go to Cheboygan. We have ordered a variety of food there and everything has been great. Prices are very reasonable and service has always been wonderful. It continues to be our favorite in that area.

The wings are excellent, and the other items we tried were very good also. The Friday night fish fry was on the greasy side. The low ceiling made the place on the loud side, especially with some people have a couple of drinks to see how loud they can talk. Still a good place to have a drink and grab... More

Stopped on a Friday evening and the one bartender was waiting on the bar and ALL the tables in the place. She was trying her best but she couldn't keep up. I ordered a beer, burger, and chili. Beer came and was half foam. She said "I owe you a half beer later" and left it. Burger came but they... More
