Stopped in this past Sunday after a weekend in Charlevoix for a wedding at nearby Castle Farms. Initial impression: could be updated, entrance is a bit awkward, seating area is pretty limited. Server: polite, attentive (brought food out quickly for kids that were hungry and tired, lifesaver!), kept drinks filled, got orders right. Food: typical diner faire, nothing extraordinary but... Had a quick breakfast at this small restaurant, bagel and cream cheese and an egg sandwich. Staff were friendly and service was good.

This place is not a chain. The interior might be lackluster with no frills or fake country veneer, but then that's not what Harbor View is there for. The food is always good. The portions are not skimpy but not overwhelming. Their takes on Eggs Benedict are great and unique. This place knows how to poach an egg... not always... More

Ate here 3 times on vacation and had their homemade omlettes each day- simply the best. I could't wait to wake up so i could get to the resaturant to get anther one. Prices are reasonable, service was good (they keep your coffee full)

The sausage biscuits and gravy were very good as were the fried eggs, bacon and hash browns and toast. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. Seems like a place the locals go.

Stumbled on this place by accident last week. Seems to be the local crowd hangout, friendly and loud...just the way it should be. My waitress was terrific and my food was in front of me before I could look up from ordering. I had a cheddar cheese omelet and it was the best I've had in a long time. The... More

They open early for Sunday breakfast. Great tasting coffee. The best waffles and the bacon was cooked perfectly.

Cute little small town restaurant tucked into Olson's plaza. All the tables get the Sunday paper. It was a nice sized traditional menu. Good portions for fair prices.

At one time, this restaurant may have had a view, but it really doesn't unless you crane your neck to find it. It's an O.K. place. More of a mid-class diner.

We ended up eating here when our hotel lost power one morning. Thankful that we did! Great customer service. The food was fabulous. Couldn't have asked for a better breakfast!
