We found Herman's on Trip Advisor and decided to stop in on our way through. It was amazing! We shared a cup of their famous Cream of Morel soup which was absolutely fabulous. We also shared a cup of cream of asparagus soup and some German potato pancakes. It was all delicious. Our server was friendly and helpful. We will... More

He is a awesome cook and still finds time to great his guests. This is a top line restaurant with gourmet taste and great presentation of food. One of my favorite specialty restaurants North of Grand Rapids and maybe the entire state.

Hermann's is a wonderful change of pace in the northern woods of Cadillac, Michigan. When you enter the main dining room you feel as if you are stepping into Germany. Chef Hermann offers traditional German/Austrian dishes with daily specials as a additional temptation. Try the morel mushroom soup as a first course. The area is famous for growing morel mushrooms... Herman's has the best cuisine in Cadillac, MI by far. This is a true 4 star restaurant with excellent Austrian and American selections. Desert is a speciality with wonderful homemade pastries.

Chef Hermann's new wine bar is a welcome addition to the Cadillac area. We can still get the under appreciated full menu and a great atmosphere. The cries that Hermann's needs an update have been answered. Everyone needs to try the hip, new Hermann's. Especially Tapas Tuesdays.

We usually love to come here, but we're a little disappointed last night. We had 6 of us and ordered off the valentines menu. The meals were $35 each not including drinks. The portions were not very large, and the prime rib did not have much flavor and was gristly. It wasn't terrible , but definitely not up to the chefs usual... More

Been coming to Hermanns for many years; I think we've had almost everything on the menu at least once. The schnitzel and sauerbraten never disappoint. The service is always superb! We always enjoy dining there at Hermanns; you can tell he; the cooks; servers and bartenders put a lot of Love into serving the customers.

Last week went to Cadillac for the RV show while in town stopped at Hermann's for lunch. Four of us in our party and we selected items from their $8.00 lunch menu. I had the bratwurst sandwich with warm German potato salad. The sandwich was on rye bread with mild sauerkraut and melted cheese. The other three had chicken salad... More
