Food was good and service was good. It was my first time at this restaurant and I would probably eat here again.

Second time eating at Kent's. First time I had the clam boil - Delicious, healthy serving. Second time, a couple of months later, clam boil was pricey so I went with the baked scrod. Dinner was small and a little dry. Not worth it. Adequate service and atmosphere.

I received a coupon book from my daughter. There was a Kent coupon. I went during the week with my husband, daughter and grandson. I had the chowder which was excellent, stuffie...just average, clam cakes...kind of burned and just average. M main meal was scallops...for 20+ dollars I was disappointed. The scallops were cut then cut again to make about... More

If you're looking for a small meal, this is the place for you. The portions are a bit sparse, but tasty. The ambiance is what might be called early school house. The servers are not overly friendly. Thus they don't interrupt conversations with with questions like, "Would you like some more water?"

Food is just okay to pretty good, but the entrance is the worst smelling stink, I can't believe the owner don't do something about it. This is where the customers get the first impression on a place. So smarten up and do something about this problem and I think you'll see business pick up.

We came here as it was closest to our hotel. They had trouble with our drink order I guess it was too fancy (an old fashioned with makers mark). I ordered the fish and chips and lobster bisque. I found the bisque to be fishy. My fish was wonderful my chips were soggy The hubby got a steak which he... More

This restaurant is pretty plain to look at. But don't let that deceive you. The seafood was fresh, well prepared, well served. Clearly the locals all know about this place. I had fish and chips, my wife had scallops. Both were crispy and fresh. The fries were golden and not a touch of greasiness. Strawberry rhubard pie for dessert. Everything... More

Love this place have been going for years. Some of the best home cooking you've ever had. Everyone is friendly and like Cheers, everyone knows your name. With almost all the meals you can order half portions which is great if you just want a snack. Chowder is awesome. Seafood is all good and the beef short ribs are really... More

My wife and I went with another couple who really enjoy the place.....Us, not so much! Ordered a carafe of Pinot Grigio. Warm. My wife ordered a salad and Steamers for her main course. I ordered The Baked Seafood platter. Both our salads were very good. I chose to have Rice Pilaf and mixed veggies for my sides, and I... More

I have recently returned and found the quality of the food is still excellent and at an excellent price. Wait staff if wonderful and this restaurant is full of locals and regulars who know good food. Seafood and Portuguese food are great. Clamboils, fish and chips and stuff quohags are a must.
