We used to come here often a few years ago, but our kids moved and this is the first time after a few years. Beside the name, not much changed. The ambience is waiting for a lot of improvement. The service was OK but not friendly, helpful or smiley. The food was OK as well, but my husband loved the... More

The Duck is one of those restaurants that makes me wonder if I should have spent more and gone to a better place or just gone to McDonalds. The food clearly was attempting to be something interesting but was a bit of a lukewarm mess. Even a simple burger was tasteless. I know they serve multiple craft beers. So, perhaps... More

Well. Our reserved table was in a corner, near a door, beneath the air conditioner blowing on us. Husband needed to get my jacket out of the car. Asked to move our table, but was told 'no'. OK- food was good in spite of rude hostess. Waitress was working her butt off...and still remained gracious & friendly. Would I go... More

Had a very enjoyable experience visiting the Duck for the first time. Menu was extensive, many micro-brews and the owner explained that they were adding more in the next month. They'll be doing some remodelling - though it looked beautiful to me - and making improvements. The sunken bar is pretty cool. Great place for intimate dinner but equally to... More

Three ladies had lunch here - my first time there and my first impression after climbing to the upstairs restaurant: "this is really nice - white tablecloths in a New England barn setting". The staff were friendly, attentive and considerate as we lingered longer to catch up. Two of us ordered burgers "on the grass" - cooked medium as requested... More

We have dined at the Duck on special occasions & this early evening dinner was no exception but it was a disappointment. There was a down size in the menu at the bar where we usually sit to accommodate my husband's handicap. Because of the menu change, we were unable to order the fish that we enjoy...it was offered only... More

Had a family reunion there - there were 9 of us. Everyone enjoyed the food and staff. We were in a room, I hadn't been to before, we basically had our own little dining room. It was the first time for most of the group and they all enjoyed themselves.

I visited The Duck and was not disappointed, great meal and beautiful presentation. I ordered the NY sirloin, and it was grilled perfectly, medium rare . Atmosphere was pleasant and the server was attentive. Would go back again.

I have visited this restaurant twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times the staff was absolutely wonderful and attentive. I especially love the rustic ambience of the place. The food is very good. They do have gluten-free options, however, not all of them are safe for celiacs as I found out the hard way.

A bar with superior food. The pastrami is exceptional, the scallops were very good. Perfect except for the lack of cider.
