I was running errands in Stoughton and stopped for breakfast and was disappointed, I first asked if the hash was homemade my server said no so I opted for the eggs Benedict. The portion was huge but it was very thick sliced ham on an undercooked English muffin with the worst holladaise sauce I have ever had so I really... More
First visit and we weren't disappointed. Service was exceptional, food was nicely presented, very tasty, and there was plenty of it. My Dad had a hamburger that was huge (He's 87 and ate the whole thing! Fries too!) My wife loved the poached eggs on English muffin with spinach and sauce that was so enormous she took two thirds of... More
But any so-called breakfast place that doesn't have maple syrup available (even for an upcharge) just doesn't measure up!
I have been eating breakfast at Zachary's for years now. I have eaten dozens and dozens of meals here. Always delicious high quality food! Great Service! ALWAYS! Most places just aren't consistent! Good food, bad food! Good service, not so good service! Zachary's is consistently good.....no better, they are great! Never more than a 15-20 minute wait for a table!... More
Had breakfast there the other morning with an out of town visitor. Service was extremely friendly and the portions are more than ample. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the company. Don't forget to raid the bowl of smarties on the way out!
They serve the best breakfasts! Always busy. Prices are very reasonable. Service is not the best, but in their defense, the place is usually packed, with people waiting for a table.
The new venue is much larger then previous, food is 'good' , not the same ambience as before - more business like. Plenty of parking, adequate seating, clean ….
We use to go to Zachary's quite often but since they moved to a bigger space, it feels sterile and unfriendly. The food is decent for breakfast, but we like a smaller option where you feel known for being a regular. We get that at another Stoughton breakfast joint, so we are loyal to them. Bigger is not always better.
